Like I said earlier did I got the inspiration from the character "The Pale Man" from the movite "pans Labrinth", bc I thought the two scenes seemed very alike.

and once agin, if you wounder did I these pictures before I saw the first trailer.

.... I live in sweden and there we study english. One task was to read a book on english and I choosed Coraline.

I thought the book was so good that I decided to draw pictures of the characters how I imagined they looked like.

"ONE YEAR LATER" I saw the first Coraline trailers. I had no ide that they was turning the book into a movie.

Sorry i cant see into the future..I will do better....

and about the pale man... I think that part of the book was just like the pale man scen.

However..i liked the idea of the dad putting the buttoms in his paws, so he could see Coraline.

fore the moment have I actually hanged up my worst horror pictures on my wall in my room.

why? bc i had a fight with my family and my mother gets freaked out of scary pictures, wich means my demon/monster drawings. But i cant waint to see her face when she see this because she dosent know I have draw this xD

The picture of the other father is from a chapter in the book when he is described like something like that...I also got insperation from "Pans Labyrinth" with the creature called the Pale Man.

Why does the year on the camera say 2005 when coraline was made in 2009?

Iam not even sure if the Coraline-book exsisted year 2005...

2008 when I just had read the book.

(this was before I know that the book would be a movie.)

I like the other father ,being a huge fan of Pans Labyrinth ,i luv the fact u;ve done them from the book and not the film (although its a truly superb film) it makes the drawings different

you see when I read the book and saw the movie "Pans Labyrinth", I notice that they were very similuar to each other.

a pale, bald, skinny, blind man are hunting after a little girl in a celler.

and then later she escape throw a trapdoor.

in the book "The other Father" loses his buttom eyes. so he have to chase after Coraline blindly.

I however image that he picked up the buttoms, and hold them in his paws. so he could both see and grasp Coraline.

if you ar refaring to that the pictures dosent look like the movie character so can I just say that I draw this pictures when I read the book.

and that was long before the movie was relased.

actually...this pictures were made before I found a Coraline trailer.:P

I just draw this pictures because I loved the book. i had no idea how Gaimain whated her to look.:P

Also, I have not seen the movie et :P it isnt realased here in sweden yet.
