  • @purpleshammrock unfortunately there is no other way but to cut and tuck the ends in. If you don't you'll end up with big loops of yarn on each side of your work. Hope this helps. If anyone else has any ideas feel free to comment.

  • If I want to do a stripes scarf say 10 rows white and 10 rows pink, is there a way to alternate between colors without having to cut and tie on the new colors? Can you do a video to show this pls?

  • hi@ Liz1540 very simply. You e-wrap the first row in front of you, then go back to the start with a kit stitch, then you start the repeat pattern like I do using the front and back rows. you can look at my video on "knit stitch" sorry for some reason that video I shake, not because i'm nervous...I think it's the video quality.

  • How do you start out with this project? I'm new to loom knitting and just cant figure out how to start out. Great video by the way :o)

  • I have watched your video on how to bind off, but it demonstrates with a different stitch - i am confused as to how to bind this stitch off...can you let me know - I have a finished project, but am reluctant to start trying to bind off as I have destroyed projoects in the past with ending mistakes! lol.

  • Great lesson for all. I think there should have better lighting for the colors used, but it still is a lovely addition to the weave techniques I have seen on YouTube.

  • HI @xjessicaraverzx you just end your row with the first colour then start like norman with your second colour, but do not detach the first colour if you plan on alternating from both colours. Hope this helps....Great idea for another video ...Thx for that

  • thank you for share. I'm lean very quickly.

  • @bradandjenn315 , you would finish it the same way you would do other work on a loom. I do have a video on binding off. I suggest you watch that since writing it is more difficult to explain than visually. Good luck

  • I am new to the loom knitting and wanted to know how you finish the scarf when you take it off the loom. I have never done this stitch before thank you so much

  • don't "gauge" out my eyes LOL !!!

  • What method did you use for changing colors with this stitch?

  • hey nickandsal001, i've been watching your videos for a while now and i like this one.... i was wondering if i want to make a baby blanket do i need a bigger loom... or any loom would me ok... i'm a newbie at this... so please get back at me... thnak you

  • thank you very much for showing this. I'm wanting to make a blanket for my oldest daughter... very big blanket... so I'm looking at stitches and trying to figure out how to put it together... I see nothing on here using knifty knitter's bigget rectangular loom... too bad :( I think it's cute how you say gauge.. no worries, I know what you're saying.

  • @MABowers71 Thanks. I do think that this stitch will look beautiful in a blanket. The Gauge- My Canadian accent I guess. LOL! I would love to see the blanket once your done. I am also working on posting other stitches so stay tuned. :)

  • How does this project start? I love the double twisted stitch and want to make a scarf, but don't know how to START this project, since you started in the middle. You say to ewrap first, only the bottom row..Do you have a video on this starting point (on a long loom), not round loom?

  • To answer your question 413nancyg: you can see my video on how to e-wrap on a circular loom. it's the same way you would do it on a flat loom. Besides if you watch the video closely, when I wrap the pegs they are all in a e-wrap method. What you would do to start is to cast on the front of the pegs on the board in an e-wrap fashion and then start the pattern that is shown and how I mentioned in this video.

    Hope this helps.

  • Could you do a video on how you started this project, including the e-wrap cast on? Please!

  • I did understand you! hehehhe And love your talent. Thanks tons for your time and talent and sharing them both.

  • 'Gayge' is how it's said. lol Love the yarn. Such a pretty scarf

  • @Ritercrazy LOL! You say tomatoe I say tomato LOL! Whatever as long as we understand each other I always say.

  • That's just the pattern I was looking for but....Can you say how to do this with needles? thanks

  • why use 2 yarn together ?

  • You need to yarns together because the pegs are separated too far apart. You need thicker yarn so your knit is tighter and has no holes. You can use a single yarn that is thicker than a 4 ply. It is up to you on what look you are after. That's what I like to use.

  • Thanks for the demo!

  • Great stitch!

  • You have to try this I really like the design of this stitch.

  • that is pretty

  • beautiful
