God this was such a great movie and had really the best acting I have seen from ashton kutcher. I don't understand why this movie was given such a bad rep. I personal thought it was a powerful movie, he tries so hard to do the right thing but it always end bad. He loves his mom, and friends always feeling bad and trying to fix his mistake in the end he finally understands that he has to let go of person he loves most to do the right thing.

@DamienWar Agreed, I think people were confused about the movie because they didn't pay attention to the first part of the film. It was indeed a beautiful movie and it actually showed what other people go through. It's the only movie that i could never get bored watching because it reminds you that life is too short and you gotta be glad that you aren't going through tough times like these kids were.

It's the theatrical version ending which is much better. You probably would have seen the directors cut which is nowhere near as good as the theatrical. I honestly advise you that if you like this movie as much as I do, then you should check it out! Hope it helped :)
