What kinda creeps me out in these videos, is that there are small things I see that the Germans did that I now see US and UK forces do. For example, the flags on top of the tanks so as to avoid a blue on blue. The German army post 1930's really did write the book for modern armed conflict with superb tactics integrating armor, infantry and air power. The comparisons to today's modern combat is quite sensational.

@GunnCommanderX do not feel to proud about the Waffen SS, I had the luck to talk with a french survivor of a village masacre, they were all civilians and only a few survived. This was done by a Waffen SS detachment in northern France. I know that not all the german army of that time was nazi, however that is not an excuse for some terrible acts comitted during WWII.

Ich habe große Teile seines Kriegstagebuches gelesen, welches noch in Sütterlin geschrieben war. Er ist leider vor Stalingrad gestorben und das letzte Tagebuch ist mit ihm untergegangen. The RAF didnt win the battle for britain, Germany simply stopped it because they concentrated on Russia. There is a difference between winning a battle and a halt because of more important military targets. Of course Britan did well, but talking about winning is over the top. The western Nations didnt impress me much in the war.

The western Nations simply had more menpower and more military ressources, but not the best equipment or best trained soldiers nor did their military performance. Simply send 10 men against 5 germans and slowly but surely the enemy will have to withdraw. Its numbers, not military success. Like D-Day: Send thousands of troops on the beach. The first ones will get shot, but we have plenty more men to waste.

There was that incident in Pancevo that involved a company from GD, but that incident was started by the SS who involved the GD (dosen't excuse it of course). Other then that I'm not sure there is many more. Sure I'm sure they shot prisoners but no more then any other allied unit (probably less then the Soviets though)

Warscheinlich ist er in einem Gulak in Sibiren gestorben. Kein Grab an das Sie gehen können... nichts nur 1 einziges Foto ist von ihm Über gelbieben.
