trent's version is really exciting, chaotic noisy dangerous sex. Queen's original from 1977 (!!) has more frustration - wanna make it, gets denied, gets back on again, etc. it's a sexy NEGOTIATION, not purely about release. I agree, and Trent Reznor used to jam at the same club I used to jam at over 20 years ago. He can't even begin to be a singer even close to Freddie Mercury's caliber. Reznor would not socialize with anyone and thought all the attention should be on him. In other words, to put it nicely, he thought he was the gift.

News Of The World is a phenomenal album. Apparently millions in the US agree as it's Queen's best selling non-compilation album (along with 1980's The Game) at 4 million copies in US sales. This song kicks ass. I may be in the minority but Trent Reznor (the biggest crybaby whining miserable son of a bitch who hates everyone including himself) ruined this gem with that lame industrial crap and self-loathing whine of his. His remake was shit compared to the original.
