Exactly Steven was a Catholic and his girlfriend was a Protestant. I dont really see people in that context... nor does it matter to me... too many people have died in our troubles and that includes soldiers policemen and women... thanks for the comment.
I'm sorry for ur loss Linda... I hope this vid brought u good memories of ur granny and not the bad memories of the night u lost her... no-one shud ever have 2 live that night ever never mind again.
Thanx alot Tom... believe it or not I'm working on new stuff... but its moving so slowly its hard to stay motivated... that and differing circumstances in life, but thanx for understanding
really touching video my friend,my aunt was also lost in this shooting, i was only 6 but it remains the most harrowing moment of my life knowing i lost someone so needlessly,i just hope and pray that moments like that never repeat themselves on this island
Thanks for your kind comments on my video... and I'm sorry for your loss... like you I hope and pray that our bloody past is exactly that the past for how much better our we without without the troubles?
Great to have a new sub so local too... thanks for commenting Gerry the song is by Carla Dillion a local singer from Northern Ireland. If you need any more help in finding it let me know.
Wow. A very powerful use of images for this heartbreaking Tommy Sands song. I remember Greysteel - what an appalling crime and I hope such terrible events are all in the past now. Steven and Karen RIP.
Its been a pleasure to bring you these pictures and dedication... thank you for your kind words they are very much appreciated for this tribute to two young people who gave so much to others in their short lifes.
Thank you friend... I knew Steven all my life and he so undeserved the events that led to his death as did his girlfriend Karen and most of the victims of our troubled past.
Thanks Leticia... sorry for the delay in replying to your comments and work I've been away and unable to access the net... I've got to return to my internet free zone on Monday :-(
So sorry for your loss of two friends...but what a beautiful tribute. Amazing photos as always...and the song...so poignant, yet haunting! Thinking of you... xo
Thanks Carolyn... it was such a dark dark time here and its only recently that we've really been able to talk about it, still I'm glad that its taken to now to find the right pictures and song that goes only a little way in telling the story of beauty on a dark and bleak era in our land.
watching again; beautiful tribute as I've said once5/*****
changing sad times in beauty...
