true! calories r Not the answer!!! Balance hormones and u'll be good!! Calories are fuel!! energy!! Check out the Zoe Harcombe video about the 3500 kcal myths!!! Stop counting calories!! eat real food!!
working out with weights will take care of the hormones (increased GH and testosterone, lower insuline), eating less will take care of the weight loss
I've reduced my calories by one-half and I exercise one hour every day. This is my first month and I've lost almost 20 pounds. If you burn more calories than you consume, you'll loose weight. So do you suggest that everyone rush out to see an endocrinologist?
Caloric restriction and cardio will help in the beginning, but typically reach a plateau unless the hormone pathways are functional. People definitely don't all need to see doctors for weight loss ... but do follow hormone-based guidelines for eating.
Soooooo. If counting calories is not the key. Then what do I have to do to lose weight? I am not sure how hormones play a role in calories but please explain more. Oh and I was always told that calories in and calories out so how do I find out what my biological uniqueness has to do to lose weight, cause I'm pretty sure that I have to at least control my calorie intake.
count carbs instead. try to stay under 50- 100g net carbs daily, over time the fat just melts away! try to get 30-45 min. of moderate-high intensity anerobic(weight) training in 2-3 times a week too( get a dr. check up first though k)
avoid sugar like-candy,sodas,too much fruit etc. and anything white like pasta, rice, breads and even beans.also avoid trans/hydrogenated fats.
