  • Suggestion for when you are fusing the cord: lick your finger before you touch the molten cord. It makes it so you dont get burned, so you can create a better seal on it

  • thanks for the video. It will give me something to mess around with over the winter now. I do have a question. In the end of the video, you go up and cut the end of the cobra weave at the beginning of the spine, but don't show it. Why? Thats the only part i don't understand.

  • Bowhunter4e I made a bow string out of about 20 pound fishing line would it work cause I'm just makeing my bow so do u think u can try it

  • I just want to start out by saying i find all your DIY video's highly useful . but in this video you said to cut the cord that overlaps the spine first on the top and bottom .but i never heard you explain the reason for that is.

  • Thank you! Great DIY, thank you for sharing.

  • i really appreciate this!! thank you so much!!

  • could you use heat shrink tubing for the ends

  • Disregard....I figured it out

  • Why do you make those cuts on the cobra weave at your start point once you've finished the braid?

  • I got to do my own bow sling, it came out nice. Thanks... u r the man...

  • NICE JOB ..... I'll be making a few for Christmas Gifts.

  • cobra stich lolzcat

  • your making the cobra weave much harder than it has to be i'm not trolling but if you want i can send you a link to the easier way

  • about how much paracord did you use to make the sling?

  • @warlockfreak89 probably around 20' give or take to be on the safe side...about 10-12' for the diamond braid and another 8-ish feet for the cobra

  • @bowhunter4e great tutorial dude, the only thing i was'nt sure on is at 6.40 where you cut the top strand and also the one underneath..where is the cut made, in the middle ?. what happens after that ? does the rest just come away and i have to burn the ends of what ive cut ? im going to make one this week sometime, thinking of trying a double spine with 2 thinner strands and colours...thanks again dude keep a BLING'IN

  • You rock man!!!! Thanks for a great video. I ordered some paracord so I can try making my own. You made it so simple. I cant wait. Thank you again.

  • where can i find the material you used to make this

  • its pretty much jus ta cobra stich paracord braclet

  • @oud25 pretty much...but some people don't know how to make those either

  • never seen you make the bracket

  • how much for you to make me one?

  • Great videos! I have bought 3 or 4 slings from companies and was glad to find your videos. This will be a good hobby for the off-season. Thanks!!!!

  • can u use 1 strand

  • @bowhunter9a yes, you can use one strand instead of 2...but i think 2 looks cooler. It's all about your preference.

  • awesome vid. but I have 2 questions...1) what size cord works best for this? how big/small around?..also 2) you lost me at 6:17 -6:45 what am I cutting?where? and do I burn the cord after cutting it?

  • @irisharmed paracord works best, it's also called 550 cord, it's about 1/8" in diameter...at that point in the video i cut the section of paracord that bunches up in the back, you don't have to do that, i just think that it looks cleaner, and yes, burn the cord so that it melts, this will keep it from fraying and coming undone.

  • Tks bro for doing this! Now I can make my bowhunting buddies keep me around another year by doing a sling for them!!

  • at 6:36 y do we cut them and wen we do cut them wat happens and what else do we have to do? sinch it?

  • i cut those ones off, yes...i think it makes it look cleaner, after you cut it you melt them

  • Cool vid thanks for sharing, gonna have to try it at home......

  • What the heck does that say?

  • lol he said "what did you just make? what is it for?"

i told him "I'm sorry, I can only speak a little russian. What are you confused about?"

"i do not know what it's for."

I emailed him telling him what it is, etc. etc.

  • я не понял! че он смастерил та?

  • Я сожалею, я могу только говорить небольшого русского. Я не знаю то, что Вы не поняли..., как я могу помочь?

  • Что он сделал? что за вещь?

  • love this part the most

  • Your a good man. I appreciate you doing this. It's a free country. If you want to show someone how to braid then go ahead. I was thinking about all the guys on AT that sell them when I saw this video to. Lol. Good video bud. =)

  • Hey thanks man, if i can save people some money by showing them how to do something...ill take a few nasty emails lol...I'm glad you liked the vid...I'm not on AT, but i think i would be banned if i was lmao...AT is all about archers hating archers and punks who can talk crap from a computer screen lol...Thanks again man.
