I liked camp but the instructors seemed to me like they thought we had no clue how to handle a horse... apparently they're nicer when you become a student at the college. But after riding for about an hour ish, we had to clean ALL of our tack and put it away in a very specific way. And we had to wash the horses and then we had to towel dry their hooves and such. It was a lot of work I wasn't used to, but it wasn't too bad.
I found another college that's a lot like WWU, but I LOVE the instructors there sooooooo much more than at WW. Stephens College in Columbia is amazing from what I've seen.... all girls, but it's right between Mizzou and U. of Columbia, so there's a HUGE selection of boys right next door ;) great equine facilites, and the arena actually *doesn't* have houses full of noisy ppl right across the street lol. x3 I think i'm in love with this campus.
Not a camp, but they give campus tours and if you look them up i believe they have a special tour day for just equestrians. = )
The campus was beautiful and the tour was great. They've got a small campus with historic buildings, and pretty much every building is connected by a series of basements so you don't have to go outside in the cold :D
well, you get a horse for the day and then you can switch if you don't get along well. we switched a couple times; I had 3 or 4 horses while i was there.
Ya, I just loved it! He was so cool and big too! I loved that he liked to just really go around the turns and the jumps and stuff! I really hope I get to ride him next year too!
I'm thinking of going next year, do you have any tips, and what do u get to do there, just ride and chill?? :)

I'm wanting to go to the camp this summer.
Can you take more than one seat during it, or do you just stick to one?
RiderxForxLiife 2 years ago
I'm pretty sure it's only one seat per camp, but I'm not positive.

how tall was brie? im just wondering if they will have a tall enough horse for me when i go there lol im 5'10
millidawggirl 2 years ago
Brie was really tall.... she was about 6 feet or so. They should have a horse that's a good size for you. Hollandaise was HUGE.
And I don't think size really matters too terribly much. I mean, they put Brie on Fergus, who's about 14 or 15 hh.
