How about final cut express? Can't you just highlight the entire film as Broadcast Safe? Wouldn't that be easier? I'm a newb with Express what do i know? Not much...

@Tyrant60 Final cut studio is the industry standard, some people still use adobe premier but for the most part avid is rare now

final cut pro is very good program

but i'm used to working in after effects

it's not the program that makes the someone an editor :) you can learn through whatever program tutorial and you can use it in the program that you are comfortable with

Instead of checking and unchecking the eye to see what I've done, I prefer to use the Frame Viewer and slide the new stuff over the originals to see a difference. Just a preference. Nice quick tutorial sir.
