  • nice mani.

  • Dear vinay, I am very thankful to you for this great recording and the great artistic job you have done is remarkable. May be Karim Khan saheb's work is available easily or hardly but Vinay's work is really unique. May Lord Christ bless you with long life and good health and you keep bringing such great works in these forms. And this is true that there are very less people who can share the plight of music with Karim Khan saheb.

  • @snoelhayat thanks for your kind words. but i am Mani, not Vinay. Vinay is one of the listeners who commented on the video . Thanks again if you liked my experiment. :-)

  • god bless you for loading this gem .

  • nice experiment! do we know who the people in the b & w photograph are? one of them looks like sawai gandharva. also notice how large the face of the tabla is..

  • @vinaypande , thanks. yes one of them is almost definitely sawai gandharva.

  • what a beautiful rendition of Basant, thank you for uploading this rare recording, god bless you.

  • @sabtak1000 thank you, but these recordings are not really rare. They are always available on LPs, CDs or cassettes, and in the internet. What I have done is to join them in a single track so that they sound like a continuous performance - which it really isn't . An experiment if you like.
