  • YOUR ACCENT REMINDS ME OF MY OLD DENTIST!!!!oO)

  • I love these kits with Evans Hydrolics heads. They're amazing. The kit I use in my band is exactly like this.

  • ha ha that's the same as my kit.

    nice drums

  • @Bogandrummer

Thanks! Yeah exports are awesome! I miss them :( but i still enjoy my starclassic :D

  • Why cant you be bothered to tune them lol it takes 2 minutes

  • @jwaldman69

little late now, bought a different kit.. lol

  • I like your snare dawg, nice pop to it!

  • lol nice video you crack me up and nice set ! They sound like Masters hehehe rock on brotha

  • Not bad at all man.

  • hey nice rack but bideway are you dutch??

  • @kijkenify

yup, ik ben nederlands/im dutch ;)

  • maby you have to buy more cimbals like a crash-ride, a china , a splash and qa second crash

  • @guidobaterista

check my newer video's, i bought more cymbals

  • the kit is set up really really nice man. love white exports, looks good!

  • VIC FIRTH FOREVER :D

  • DAMN RIGHT :D !!!

  • It's not illegal to not have a double bass. I don't use double bass, 'cos you are more creative working with a single pedal. Nowadays all you drummers can do is fast double bass and a crash cymbal. No actual beats

  • Look up Chris Adler man he has some kickass footwork or Danny Carey even or John Dolmayan. They all use double bass.

  • Although I agree with you and see your point, they are only three in a sea of millions of drummers who post shitty double bass stuff on youtube.

  • Yeah that is true, but that isn't denying the fact that there are alot of really good double bass drummers, that can use hi-hat and bass footwork aswell.

  • Oh absolutely, I agree with you. Double bass is just another drum kit skill that you can develop.

There's just no need for us fellow drummers to argue about it really, different things for different drummers. As long as it sound good, who the hell really cares?

  • I totally agree. There is no point arguing about who is a better drummer either, they make music, like every other drummer, if it sounds good to them then they're good. If they can make a song, then they're good.

  • Indeed. Drummers are musicians too! Ha. Alas, it's a shame most people are really bitchy about other drumming and drummers.

  • True...True. Ah well, what can you do? People's is people's.

  • I agree with you 100%

  • n00b he has double pedal

  • this guy does not deserve a kit that nice

  • I know.. thats why I bought a starclassic.

  • hey i have got the same kit as you lol

  • That is a Beautiful Kit. the toms sounds abit dead. but it could be from the I.S.S Mounts that come with the drums. they press up against the rim of the drum head. and you definately want to tune both heads of the toms and floor toms to the same pitch so they will resonate...

  • its a bit ringy, but i like it that way... lol nice :P

  • the snare sounds strange

  • dude the only thing about ur 16 inch unless u like it lie that its just a little dead so tune it up a little bit

  • wOw Awesome kit man. Nice cymbals :)

  • let me TOUCH you....

  • LOL

  • LMFAO

  • hey man, nice drummin and nice kit, 5/5, but in walkthroughs u r supposed to tell what company cymbals u have (along with what series) and what kind of heads and all that fun stuff. just lettin u know for next time :)

  • NIce drumin man, cool kit! 5/5

  • CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO GET GOOD CYMBALS FOR A DECENT PRICE?? I only get £5 per month and i really need some cymbals.

  • Decent cymbals for a good price you say?..... Try Sabian B8's.

    Awesome cymbals for the price.

  • awsome kit

  • i love that kit. its the one i first started to play on.

  • you sound like FEZ from that 70's show. i like the drumset dude! peace out!

  • lmao i love that show

  • Mad kit!

  • lol nice i hve a monster kit!

  • Nice, I have that kit too.

  • hey i dig the kit. where did you get them and how much. i love the white finish on them makes them look very clean. sweet kit

  • Nice drum kit

  • i have the same set with paiste cymbals pearl exports are awesome!!

  • nice set nice playing all i can say is that the cymbals are more important than the drums because you can change heads maybe you should invest 5/5

  • Thanks!

yeah i know, i bought some new cymbals, some a customs, and Masterwork Iris cymbals (these are awesome cymbals i wish i discovered them before i bought my crashes:( ) ill make a new vid soon.. with my new tama starclassic:)

  • Goeiemorgen dan:D hoeist met je?

  • U from Holland?

  • jep

  • great fideo! :D

  • that mustve been a kick in the nuts to set up

  • damn thats sweet man but yeah i bet that was a pain to set it up its still sweet x}

  • I mean that I wonder if I would buy Pearl Export EXR drum set, ofcourse ;)

  • nice man, i wonder if u would buy Pearl Export EXR.. For better bassdrum sound, (1) try falam slam. Its a little plastic piece, pretty thin that you put where the "basshammer" hits the skin on the bassdrum. or (2) you can also make an ring (cut an hole) on the bassdrum skin for an not so trapped sound inside the bassdrum. thx for sound video tour man!

  • it just looks like.. in the backgrund.. i just thought :) sorry

  • u got 2 bass drums... why dont you use the other?

  • no i don't 1 only have 1... who told you that lol

  • that's pretty rock man. inspiring me to get a drum set. w00t!

  • you should do one of your new tama starclassic

  • the large floor tom sounds weird because the skin is too loose, just tighten it and you should be good to go.

  • nice kit!! good playing too

  • Racist Bastard.

  • u just need to tune them like their is tutorial videos on youtube .. bob gatzen is good he helped me get my set sounding awesome

  • lol

  • of what?

  • Thanks man!

  • nice

  • thanks

  • Yeah cool thing, dude! You are cool!:-)

  • Yeah, very nice kit,and all racks and everything, but i waited that you have more cymbals. But that's ok,just get few cymbals, but when you buy,get good cymbals, not bad cymbals, beacuse bad cymbals are not so good, even if you have lots of them.just get few things at once, and then start buying few things and few things!Hope U understand my bad english :D And tune that lowest tom, sounds horrible :D

  • thanks man.

yes i know i know i know about the cymbals, tuning, and whatnot.

check my newer video's i have gotten 2 a customs and an avedis splash. im getting there.. slowly... but surely ;)

  • ooh ok:P

    15 en 16" zildjian a custom crashes

    16" paiste 302 plus crash

schalloch 14" hats en 20" ride

  • i'm from the netherland dus ik praat maar nederlands:P maar ik heb ook een pearl export exr maar dan in het rood, wel een fet rack btw

  • aaight :D bedoel je strata red? :D thnx man:D heb je wat video's online staan?

  • omg i have the sam kit just without a rack and its only a five peice

  • How thick are your sticks? What size?

  • the one i used in this vid were thomas lang sigs. they have a diameter of .630

  • Nice kit btw. Killer sticks aswell. Have you tried AHEAD sticks they are quite good. I was surprrised how much power they deliever, considering thath they are quite light.

  • Thanks!

i havent tried ahead sticks yet, im gonna buy some when i find a seller that actually has them in stock :(

    what size do you recommend?

  • Well I have 2 pairs. Joey Jordison's sticks are the lightest pair of all the sticks with 540" Diameter, .030" Wall, Medium Taper, 15 11/16" Long. But if your more experinced or want heavier sticks. Like the 2nd pair I have get Lars Ulrich sticks .595" Diameter, .035" Wall, Long Taper, 16 1/4" Long. The "Wall" is the thickness of the metal rod inside the cassing. Theres is also another model. The "Spug" (Mudvayne drummer) model which is like the 7A model but gold, They are quite good too.

  • I see. how ae they for cymbals? i hear ahead sticks leave nasty marks on them

  • Not really. You see the AHEAD series is ment for heavy hitters. Thats why most heavy metal drummers use them. I wouldn't recommend them for jazz. But For rock 'n' roll and Heavy Metal I would. They don't really leave marks. But the actuall sleeve is replaceable and the reason it leaves marks sometimes is that your supposed to dry the sleeve with a hair-drier after yu apply them to the stick. If you don't thats when they leave marks on the cymbals.

  • ooh i see. I think im gonna try some! now i just need to locate a dealer lol.

  • I mite be able to help you were do you live?

  • I live in The Netherlands, in a town called Enschede

  • Wow! I thought you lived in an English town. Your english is impeccable.

  • lol i'll take that as a compliment =D

  • how did you get the extra toms for your kit did you buy them sepratly and if you did what site did you get them of

  • I got them seperately from a music shop in my country, called feedback.

  • Nice set. I like the sound of your kick and snare.

  • your jokes man

  • ...?

  • Your toms sound great... to me anyway. How did you learn to tune them? Or did you just turn them until you liked it?

  • Thanks man!

to be honest, i'm not a great tuner, i just fiddled with the tuning untill i got the sound i like. they are tuned quite low, as in "just above the wrinkle, and then a half turn" low. I find they sound nice and deep tuned like that (especially with pinstripes). I like my toms to have that low end sustain :D.

Hope this helps, if not, message me.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks, fast response...

I'm a very beginner and trying to learn to tune mine... are your toms pretty tight or loose for that sound?

  • hehe.

in that vid, they were quite loose. i tuned them up to the point where the "papery" sound was gone ("just above the wrinkle" point), and then about a 1/2 turn.

what heads do you have on your drumkit right now?

  • I have a CB700 with remo heads on every drum, an izmir ride and zildjian thin crash.

The toms are badly out of tune though.

  • thats cool, I'd suggest tuning them like i stated above, and then you tweak your reso head (bottom head) 1/4 turn higher.

can you record some sound samples, so i can get an image of what sound you are getting now? it would be much easier to tell if you should tune up or down that way

  • Sure, i'll send you some via a comment on your page tomorrow.

    Peace out for now.. thanks.

  • thats cool,

    Peace, no problemo

  • After a test with tuning (using plyers lol.. no key) I was able to tune my mid and floor tom like I like them, but the high tom is dead. Any way I turn the tension rods it sounds the same... very flat.

  • Hmm..

what tom sizes do you have?

  • Im not sure, nothing really to measure them with and it doesn't say on the shell.

Just a mid, high, and floor.

  • Hmm..

do you have a messenger (msn/aim?)

message me your addy if you want, would be fun to chat! and it would be much easier to help you hehe.

  • remo pinstripe rulzzz!i have ebony!

  • thanks for this vid. it helps

  • no problem =)

  • cool man!!!

  • Thanks!

  • Hey man what heads do you have on the resonance side of you toms?

  • remo ambassadors

  • ambassasor? they look like prinstripe :P

  • i know. thats the batter side, he means the resonant side.

  • Just if you didn't know, (don't DUH! me if you did) the 'vote for pedro' comment is a funny reference from Napoleon Dynamite.

  • i didnt duh you dude..

    oooh lol

  • U have Great Beats !

  • Thanks =D!

  • did you diy-soundproof the room?

  • diy?

    how do you mean?

i just put rockwool and some other soundproof material on the walls.. works nicely

  • DIY - Do It Yourself

    XD

  • they sound fantasic! haha good man.. i also have a pearl but i have a vision set

  • Vote for Pedro! lol

  • .. why?

  • ke parches usa ?

  • what?

  • jaja otras ves , remo

  • tighten the last floor tom,and it will sound alot better.

Also think about getting Moon Gels,or Drum Gum,to mute over tones,THEY DO WONDERS!!!

  • yeah i know.

i retuned the snare, it rings less now hehe.

btw, are you nevdrum from the pdf?

  • what's the name of the headphone?

  • its a Blissom headphone, cant remember the exact name, sorry. something like, leightung l0f.

  • aaackkk i hate all 16" crashes i dont know why i guess its just theyre too low or the resonate a lot - when i save up enough money im replacing mine with a 15" or one of those 17" sabian ones that for some reason sound higher than a 16" :D

  • i have one of these kits, excellent kit

  • yeah they sure are!!

  • great kit. needs more cymbals

  • and i got more cymbals;) check my newer vids.

  • so what the hell I might as well shoot a video! haha. Good job man.

  • thanks!

  • thats the pearl exr right? im looking to buy that exact same kit in strata red, is it worth the 900 bucks used?

  • ya its worth it, i used to have a pearl export and i loved that thing it was definetly worth like 1500 dollars or what ever i put into it, but ya 900 bucks used is good...get it!
