But i can really recommend the band Final Exit also from sweden, One king down is a good band aswell but still raised fist own them like a pimp own his hoes!

Hatebreed, Madball, Sick of it All are examples of what people call "New York hardcore" and is more into heavy riffs.

The riffing of Raised Fist reminds me alot of the poppier, more melodic side of In Flames, but without the occasional heaviness.

Also..."hardcore punk" has been around since the late 70's.

And Converge/Hope Conspiracy are more punk than metal in my ears.
