@frerzako - I can absolutely promise you, that if you spent $5k on the best Waves plug-ins, it STILL wouldn't compare to just "1" of the pieces of gear that you see in this mastering studio! I know from professinoal experience. Yes, some plug-ins come VERY close, but i still have not heard any plug-in that gives you the same commercial sound as 100% hardware, none. There's a reason why SSL still has no problem selling their $3000 bus compressors, verses just their VST plug-ins! Believe me.

@doulos24 Actually, that room is very well treated. These are false walls. The real walls are a lot behind the fabric that you see, and are in fact not parallel. The false walls make it look a lot more aesthetic. Simple as that. But the rooms is very heavily treated and tuned to handle problematic frequencies.

@doulos24 running the massive passive into the fairchild then into a manley Mu limiter would be something I would like to hear!!!!!!!!!! this alone would be a monster, some suddle eq's with the prism, this mastering facility has a rack thats can get phenomenal results, but I have found through my career, it all lies in the ENGINEER!
