  • thank you so much!

  • Thanks yo

  • thank for the video ur a better teacher on youtube than my real math teacher is in class

  • how do you do the problem if you have something like: (x^2-9)/(x+1).......or something with any of the x values raised to a power

  • I love you.

  • I... i... I GET IT!

Wow. I was completely, ridiculously lost in my precalc class... I tried doing this on my own for three days and went through three homework assignments getting every answer wrong and not knowing what I was doing.

Thank you SO MUCH. :) I can't believe it's as simple as you make it sound...

  • yesss, you're the only one that actually describes how to do that second problem, thanks!

  • Whats the point in math books if we have youtube videos?

  • It's really sad that I learn math better from youtube videos than I do from my math teacher who has been there for 16 years.

Thanks so much for posting this!

  • What if you had a square as the denominator? wouldn't it make it y = (x+3)/(x squared + 3) which would be [x squared = -3] which would be root negative three? So is the whole equation not applicable?

  • do we only plot points right and left of the vertical asymptote? What about horizontal asymptote

  • ahh just what I was looking for! thanks! :D

  • thanks. teachers these days want to talk to much and not be simple just like this video was. thanks!

  • thankyou :)

  • Much appreciated

  • Thanks for the help!
