the translation is kinda weird, the original lyrics translation would have worked in most parts, but jessa's voice is to low for a song by Utada Hikaru it kills it... i wish Utada would sing it in English...

Well, its a variation of sorts, the notes she hit don't necessarily have to be verbatim to the original. Aside that it isn't a good translation, I can see the melody itself being still good with those variations.
