Wow, I wish I knew how to keep my balance! I stay up for like 8 seconds knowing the wall is a close to me and can't find the courage to do it away from the wall.
my advice is you need to practice over balancing & cartwheeling out or walking on your hands to recover...falling is par for the course...until you get fallling down to a science & make it conditioned response that is like second nature you will always be afraid to work away from wall...take off the training wheels friend..you can fly.
get a partner to spot & coach you at first...good luck!
very impressed. Is the one footed press easier than normal presses [tuck, pike etc.]? as I would like to try learning it as opposed to jumping and kicking up from downward facing dog.
one footed easier if you have good splits flexibility as hips are preset higher finding balance quicker... i visualize bent leg in air driving toward back of head. little momentum good...just try to maintain control!
I want to be like you when I eventually hit your age, You're so fit! it's amazing how you can do this! I'm a huge fan :)! I'm learning the exact same thing at the moment and only hope to have as much balance as you do!
How much can i increase my handstand during the ummer etc. if im already able to stand 10 sec? I have the streaght now i want to take it to the next level
No substitute for tons of practice my friend, try to reduce momentum & increase control by making small corrections instead of large counter productive flailing motion, good luck!
You have amazing balance and core strength!.I can do handstands against a wall but i am still practicing doing them without any support.Great vid.peace, ken
@CylindersCrystal121 Ken, if you are strong enough to lift hand up momentarily to walk or cartwheel out when overbalance then you should make yourself practice without wall for mental crutch is hard to rid of. Just set goal realistic, visualize success & work on doing it hundreds or more times-- good luck!
Nelson, with a handstand that good, if we practiced Acrobatic Yoga for just a day we would be out control. Thanks your works always impresses and inspire me.
I love the brand also. But you should lower it some and place it in the corner. It is a little distracting.
Thanks for your honesty about the distracting location of logo, you are right, I need to get that fixed somehow.
My passion for inversions directs me toward practicing them proportionately more than other yoga poses, especially if I want to learn new & improve. But you would be surprised how little I do to maintain, he he.
Like riding a bike, don't loose skill fast, in the muscle memory system.
your balance is phenomenal

There is no limit to improving & building difficulty in handstand or any inversion if you chose to do the work & never give up *plateau is common*
Try adding leg variations to the mix to make the posture seem new & different if you are trying to hold longer.
Good luck & practice more!
(I have been plateau now as my practice wanes)

Fantastic balance. You make it look so effortless - although I take note of your comments on the pre-requisites e.g. strong core....
I feel like I'm getting a good workout just by watching you! I wonder if my balance has improved as a result?!
