  • Hello,

Do you have a text tab or the chrods for this song?

    Thanks

  • hey can you show the fret play. like with the lines and each number of the fret if you get what i mean... thanks.

  • @moviemaestro1

    What is your email address?

  • Thank you so much =) You put Autumn Rush on the guitar tabs lol idc its still great =) Appreciate it

  • oh my god THANK YOU!!! i've been trying to look for this version of the song for ages, THANK SO VERY MUCH!!!!

  • I see what you mean. Let me show you doing fraction form- top number string number (string 1 is bottom string) and bottom number fret number. In parenthesis it's played at the same time. Starting at 1:33.

    5/0-(2/1-3/0-4/2)-(2/1-3/0-4/2),

    5/0-(2/3-3/0-4/4)-(2/3-3/0-4/4),

5/0-4/2-(2/1-3/0)-(2/0-3/1-4/0-5/2-6/0), 5/2 isn't really played on the last chord but it kills the string.

    Hope that helps.

  • hey your tab on ultimate guitar doesnt have the part at 1:34 could you edit it on the site or explain i could watch and learn it myself by examining the video but its late here and would be so much easier just to have it explained next time i have a chance to get on

  • hey your tab on ultimate guitar doesnt have the part at 1:34 could you edit it on there or put what you did there i could probably figure it out by watching the video but its 2am here and one can hope that your in a dif time zone and might have a response to this so i dont have to examine what you did

  • good stuff where did you get the full tabs for this version ? Thanks

  • @Marc1442

Hi Mark. I put the tabs on Ultimate guitar. I tried putting the link on here but it won't let me so look for "Moondance August Rush". It will say "by Holmes".

  • it took me through half the song to figure out you were singing. dont' be afraid to let your voice out.

  • Let's see the face

  • awesome guitar playing, suckish voice. sorry dude, just being honest.

  • hey man whats a "Am 7" is it 4,3 or 2 fingers! plese pm me ifyou have the awnser im trying to learn this song in a week

  • Am7 is 2 fingers. Index finger on the 2nd string 1st fret and 2nd finger on the 4th string 2nd fret. Remember the 1st string is the bottom string.

  • sawlon has a interesting version of this chord progression. you all should check it out

  • dont sing ;D

  • thanks man,you did great

    dc

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks! ;-)

  • your not very clear on how to make the chords... so people who dont know how to make a Am7 or Bm7 may get confused...

  • well the chords aren't that hard so they can look it up online.

  • i would be one of those people lol

  • mucho mejor que la sonfonia de los telez

  • if anyone here has an ear he played it wrong so i wouldn't learn it from this guy

  • do you know how how to play it ??!

coz i'd luv to learn it

  • me gusta esta cancion =)

  • Muchas gracias. Muy amarble.

  • Chords are Am7 Bm7, rinse, repeat.

  • lol the beginning chords are Am move that up two frets and the move it up one more and mute the Bstring

  • Actually an Am7. Then up two frets holding the Am7 chord pattern, then up one more but this time an A7 chord pattern.

  • Sounds like you need to capo up to about the 5th fret.

  • Well the instrumental wasn't terrible but your singing really needs some work... And I'm backing the others here "Moondance"is from Van Morrison and has been around for many years!

  • Yes that's true. It came out in 1970. I just liked the version done on "August Rush".

  • this was great!!!! but what are the chords???

  • This was not intended to be a performance but rather instruction on the playing of Moondance. When I did the video I had just barely figured out how to play it. I suppose I'll have to do a performance now so stay tuned.

  • i would love the chords if u could send them i would really appreciate it

  • Moondance is "from" Van Morrison, who wrote and performed it waaayyyyyy before it was utilized so nicely by the makers of August Rush.

  • That is so true. Van Morrison is the main man.

  • Love it!

  • You're awesome! I wish I had your talent! You rock!

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • dont be afraid of singing long man....i'm sure you'll sound amazing if you sing out loud.

  • JK i reallly enjoyed it lol

    im playing it now!

  • Thanks for the lesson. Much appreciated.

  • Actaully, there's a bunch of different keys that this can be played in. For the Van Morrison (I think) version, you could start with an Am and basically do the same thing. Just FYI.

    Great job, though.

  • Key: Am7

This video really helped me playing the song, but if you practiced vocals it gonna be a great cover :) Thanks! :)

  • I'll work on it. Thanks.

  • I think that this video could be so much better if you practiced a bit more. Work on smoothing out the transition of the rythem. (not ment to sound mean or anything)

  • Thank you. I appreciate your comment.

I was actually just trying to show how to play the song. But I suppose I should try polishing it up to performance level. Thanks again.

  • good!!!yes yes

  • Yes! PLEASE post some tabs...I'm trying to learn this. and, what key is this in? I'm kinda new to the whole guitar-playing thing.

  • awesomme, could you pleas post some tabs or at lest tell me what chords where you ussing?

  • how cool i love this song
