  • strachotno!

  • he died couple of months ago he had a hart attack he was only 58 years old rest in peace gary you dead but youre music lives on

  • BB King is the king of the blues and Gary is the prince of the blues.

My children will have the honor to hear these two gods of the blues.

  • It's funny.... he sings "he was born in Mississippi in 1924, but on Wiki it says BB King was born in 1925.... small blunder?

  • @RankAndFileGuy Well, I don't know. I don't see Wiki as gospel, but BBK's website says September 1925. Looks like it could be a blunder x

  • @kara1464 Blunder on you guys. He's singing about Albert King, His biggest influence on his blues, he taught him to slow down his playing, play less notes etc. I'm not trying to hate, thanks for uploading! ;)

  • @hanekamhoofd Why do you aim that comment at me, specifically? I've never claimed that KotB was all about BB King. :/

  • @kara1464 Clicked the wrong name, don't really know how this 'new' commentsystem works. :p Aimed for RankAndFileGuy. Anyways, learned something new I guess.

  • @hanekamhoofd

Aye, and I can see why. No worries :)

  • @RankAndFileGuy ALBERT KING NOT BB

  • @Psiho021 He's singing about BB King because Gary Moore mentions Lucille which is the name of BB King's guitar "..he's got Lucille by his side". Plus, Albert King was born in 1923...

  • @RankAndFileGuy The '59 Gibson Flying V made famous by Albert King. “Lucy,” the guitar built by Dan Erlwine in the early 1970s... Albert King songs: Hunter, Crosscut saw, Born under a bad sign, Laundromat blues...He was born Albert Nelson on a cotton plantation in Indianola, Mississippi, also the birthplace of B.B. King.

    Gary Moore: ''That's right

Mister, Albert King of the blues

    Yeah!

    King of the blues.

    Let me hear ya!''

  • @Psiho021 Oh, you're right my mistake. Thanks.

  • @RankAndFileGuy wiki got many things wrong its only based on rumors mostly

  • @wdpk12 On BB's offical site it states 16 September 1925... so Wiki got it right this time.

  • @RankAndFileGuy

This song is about Albert King. Listen to the songs Moore mentions and the guitar style played on this song... It's all about Albert King

  • @blunoats I know, someone corrected me ealier. :)

  • @RankAndFileGuy 1923!

  • magic Gibson Les Paul!!!

  • Maldita Publicidade!!Ninguém quer ver propaganda antes do vídeo...

Isso é uma grande falta de respeito com os usuários do you tube..

Ja ta perdendo a graça o you tube...

    Graças ao MALDITO MARKETING!!

  • R.I.P fellah! Slainte! :) - and THANK YOU

  • BB King is king of the blues, but Gary is awesome too! ;d

  • @wojtas4539 Sent a DM with a link to a BB and Gary vid x

  • @wojtas4539

Albert King isn't bad too !!!

  • @wojtas4539 I know, everybody says "B.B. King" is the king of the blues, but actually I think this is not true, I would rather say, B B King is probably the cousin of the Prince of Gospel, messin' around with a guitar, or something like that.

Because B.B. Kings voice actually is not really bluesy and so is the feeling he puts into his songs. Actually he most time sings "standard blues scheme-tunes" and his guitar playing is a kind of boring and always the same... or at least so I think...

  • @Herbydakiffa Well, you're definitely entitled to your own opinion. BB is of his age and the blues had developed and expanded. To me, he is the old-style mississippi blues -. What Gary's done is blues rock. I couldn't say which one is better than the other because I can't compare them.

  • @kara1464 That is true! Actually I'm not as good in expressing myself as I would like to be. But Blues means to me something, that really makes you feel bad or even better, makes you realize, there's someone who's in more misery than you are..

  • @Herbydakiffa i agree with you: he is not the king. he's good, but SRV is the real god, followed by gary and robert johnson, i think.

  • @Herbydakiffa You wouldn't know the blues if it hit you in the face.
