  • I love how after the stickman has left the screen and came back, it looks like his hand came back. But awesome animation

  • Huh?

Interesting effort with the animation, but it is not showing "kickback". "Entanglement" perhaps.

  • hahaha man I can gess you add 100%

  • its funnier with sticks but real life that shit hurts

  • Respect the saw!

  • my friend got a kickback and it was a 2by 2 pice od plywood and it spun ninja star for 5 feet and hit me in the nuts it was horrible i thought i was gonna die. it was on video cause we got cameras in the shop. imgonna try to get the tape

  • HAHA! That sucks. I wonder if someone was watching the monitor when that happened.

  • lol hey do you think you'd be able to send me that vid

im a student in the workshop right now and my teacher has talked about kickbacks but ive never seen one

  • i would have but the teacher couldnt get it to dvd format

  • @themegajosh09 did u ever get the video?

  • @Tigersfan829 no after that school year the teacher said she no longer had it. but everyone in school saw it haha

  • @themegajosh09 The answer to avoiding entanglement ISN'T to avoid long sleeves - it's to use a long push stick which leaves your hands 12in or more away from the blade at all times. It's what professional carpenters in Europe are taught to do.

Kickback is best dealt with by two things: a short Euro-style rip fence (which eliminates side pinch between the blade and the fence) and a correctly-sized riving knife or splitter directly behind the saw blade.
