I saw this movie in theater . i was about 8-9 years old visiting a relative in MH..they showed Kishore Kumar and Anuradha Powdwal recoding this song. on half screen...i still remember the passion and fun with Kishore kumar was singing it..his expressions were at par with Ashok saraf's on screen..i.e he knew the exact mood of the song ..amazing song..

For this song shantaram nandgaokar who wrote lyrics is told to write the song without any letter "ळ" for convinience of great KISHORE KUMAR....

What do you want to suggest? Kishoreda was very honest about what he couldn't properly do (it only shows his greatness as human being and also dedication to quality). Not only Anil and Arun, but he had also instructed Prabhakar Jog (who couldnt record a Marathi song with Kishoreda because of Kishoreda's untimely demise) to try to avoid ण and ळ. His (and Hemant Kumar's) pronounciations are most flawless among all the Hindi singers who have sung Marathi songs.
