i used regularr sugar & just olive oil, and it works amazingly. i do this every morning after i brush my teeth and they are smoooooooooth. (:

@marissa910 Dont do this every day because it will make your lips raw over time. your scrubbing your lips and thats not good

@mocachick26 I think so! I would try it to see. Since the white sugar has smaller grains, it might melt into the honey and not really have a scrub-like texture. Therefore, it might not be a scrub. I would definitely try it though...it might just work and it wouldn't hurt! :)

@XoViKaToRiAoX Homemade lip scrubs do not have preservatives, so it can last up to two weeks in the fridge. :)

honestly, I wouldn't change the color. It's suppose to be "natural". Any unnatural coloring might irritate your skin.

I wouldn't do it more than once or twice a week. It's still skin! Any over-exfoliation is not good for the skin. The skin will be too thin on your lips and it would not be able to protect it~
