Both Wario Land 2 and Kirby's Epic Yarn supported immortality as a gameplay standard. However, Kirby's Epic Yarn failed to contain the kind of challenge that made Wario Land 2 fun, even if there's no game over.
Massive nostalgia going on here. I remember playing this game- in fact, I still have the cartridge. I managed to complete it all the way, getting every single ending and unlocking Flagman mode, too. :3
This is by far one of the only GBC games I've played all the way to the end and actually enjoyed playing through it as well. It's just so much fun. :D
