As a reiki master (I don't feel like a master as only a master can master his own reality and path) I have certainly noticed the different levels of enrgy through all three attunements. How well the reiki comes through depends upon how well you look after yourself in body and spirit. For those who are unsure if this is real the answer is simple, go and find a reiki practitioner or master and book yourself an hour's session. After you may feel lighter and slightly light headed, or recharged.

Hello,

I was attuned to the second level Reiki last year and I felt very powerful for many months. Now I notice that I don't seem to have the same flow of energy that I once had. It's kind of like my Reiki healing has fizzled out like an old battery. I am not tired and I have no stress in my life. What could be causing this downturn?? I would welcome your opinion. Thanks.

Reiki never goes off like old battery. You are not loosing it... it would be with you and will be with you... its work always going on and so you will have all the benefits of this lovely energy flow.

one accustoms with the flow so it feels like normal... Be faithful to you and your reikiflow and you will get surely benefited as well as provide benefits to others also....

Hello, I had posed this question to a number of people and many have suggested doing more Reiki on myself and getting more Reiki treatments on myself and doing more meditation. When I would do Reiki on friends they would feel heat and tingling. Now when I do it, they feel nothing and I feel nothing. That means I am an old battery and need recharging. @Delisle4 This means that you were not attuned with Reiki Natural system. Otherwise Reiki is for life time, when ever you start; it will work as before and provide patient base responses!

Hello again, since communicating with you 5 months ago, I have felt my Reiki energy come back. I also had a Reiki treatment from a Reiki master and that 'recharged' a great deal. Recently I have been feeling my hands tingling more than usual even if I am not in the process of providing a treatment. I know that as we get closer to 2012 many of us will have our DNA reprogrammed and so I am enjoying the upgrades as they come along. Namaste

@Delisle4 Giving daily self-treatment is a rule of thumb. Heat in the hands is not a sign. FInd on you tube some good references on how to find a good Reiki Master Teacher and you will also learn to re-attune yourself. Or aybe yo canaks someone to give you a reatment.. don't you have any friends practicing reiki

I completed my level 1 in Reiki I didnt believe it at first but saw the dramtic changes in my horse getting Reiki done by my teacher before and after the session I seen dramatic results in her behavior she looked sooo happy and peaceful:)

Reiki attunement is just a regular healing session where the "student" attunes to the energies sent to him. The reiki symbols doesn't work, they're just crutches and make western people believe they have some secret way of opening up "secret energies". Reiki is too dogmatic and religious in it's approach. Also all attunements are the same, once you can feel qui you can help others feel qui.

Some reasons why people don't achieve in Reiki, 1. They dont fully understand the process of healing, or they misunderstand the true meaning. 2. They don't practice their own inner healing regularly. 3. They have not overcome their inner obstructions and barriers in healing. 4. Perhaps the Master did not give much support. Reiki is not a religion or a dogma, but it is spiritual in nature. What Reiki will bee for you, depends on the attitude and motivation you bring into your daily practice.

mikisenx, that's simply not true. My mother is a Reiki Master and the symbols and their formulas are very important in advanced healing. My mother sought Reiki because she was diagnosed at a young age of having Crohn's and Lupus, a combination that was supposed to kill her by thirty. She is now 48 and healthy, despite western medicine's assertion she would die. Doctors call her a miracle. She has also regrown a disc in her back, a feat called impossible. She did it with symbols.

the symbols are very sacred, no matter what anyone says. they are like Training Wheeles for some people. yet, other people use the symbols to power up Reiki. as well as other energy work. :) Reiki is very very effective. :) anyway... the 5 symbols should always be respected. everyone is different, and everyone experiances different things...

@mikisenx Well this is the bit you're going to laugh at.....all symbols hold an energy frequency. The reiki symbols are part of this frequency. Look into cymatics for a more scientific answer to this.

No peer reviewed scientific material exists where any kind of healing or paranormal ability has proven to be more effective than what the placebo control group gets.

It is said that Jesus was in India and near Kashmir he stayed. There he met a Shaiv Panthi (worshiper Lord Shiva) and learned this Vidya (knowledge and attunement) from him.

Darestuff has replied and it is correct. Let me add here that Jesus stayed in a Shivs Temple, which was on Shiva Hill. He met there one Shaiv Avadhoot (follower and achiever of the yoga-path of Lord Shiva)and got himself attuned with healing energy, which was used by him. THere are other references are also available. Tibetian tradition also has some kind of document regarding this.

Hi reikimere, yes it is mostly the same. I have been fortunate to learn Reiki healing from Barin Mehta, and felt inspired to produce these videos. It is my hope that others likewise may find inspiration to learn Reiki healing and enjoy the benefits from that.
