  • Who's the guy at 0:54

  • The only thing dumber than the conspiracy theorists who contend that American men didn't land on the moon, expounding on these theories in the comments sections of YouTube videos are the people who give these wingnuts more exposure by responding to their lunacy with additional commentary.

  • I love the fact that all these 'conspiracy theorists (retards)' mention how Apollo 11 was faked, yet... hardly have I seen or heard them mention the other six (five successful) missions that had also "faked" landing on the moon, I mean after the first one, what would be the point? just so it seems legit? right well I guess the billions the government spent was pointless then..

  • ''Truth needs no defence''

    Eugene ''Gene'' Andrew Cernan

    'Gemini 9A, Apollo 10 & 17'

  • I don't really care if they landed on the moon or not, I believe they did and that's good enough for me.

  • Shame on the one person who disliked this!

  • I cant figure out why people even waste thier time on the conspiracy theorists. They wont believe their own eyes so why would they believe our words? they speak lies to gain attention and for no other reason. I also notice they refute the "FACTS" taken not long ago by the oribiter that shot the landing sights and clearly shows the debris left behind, explain how the laser reflector got up thier that ANYONE with the right equipment can zero in on. Dont insult your inteligence let em babble on

  • What's more outlandish, more fantasy

the world is flat or round?

no what is more outlandish, fantasy seemingly ridiculous? people went to the moon, or they made it in the basement and in orbit and manipulated footage. i dont care enough to believe which but which sounds more realistic? that it was faked.

  • it sounds more realistic that 400,000 people could be duped into working on a fake project?

Or that the Russians wouldn't have called us out for faking?

Or to fake transmissions from the moon to thousands or amateur radio enthusiasts across the world?

there is photo evidence of the landing sites.

you must be retarded if you think its easier to fake going to the moon than actually going.

  • not to mention that amateur astronomers could actually track the apollo spacecraft on the trip to the moon by listening to the radio transmissions to mission control and overhearing when the crew would make overboard waste dumps.

the astronomers were able to see the sun's light reflecting off the cloud of frozen urine as it was dumped overboard and expanded effectively giving them the position of the spacecraft.

  • Could not have said it better myself. Your comments give me some measure of relief about the viewers of these videos.

  • @sja11 Thank you, my thoughts exactly there is countless factual evidence to prove that it was real. Not to mention the little details, such as during the Apollo 11 mission, the Russians had launched one of their lunar modules (luna 15 I believe) and as result of both launches occurring relatively at the same time, both U.S. and Russia had to exchange mission logs so as to not collide with each other. If there was any signs of this being faked, the Russians already had the proof in front of them

  • @sja11 Indeed, why spend billions of dollars on a rocket that could go to the moon and then fake the landing in a studio?

Idiots who think the moon landing was fake just don't get it, even if it came in a large box marked "it"

  • Hmm, you make a compelling and well thought-out argument. cough. Wrong conclusion however.

  • ya, what if 400,000 ppl we're all duped.

there is no real photo evidence to my knowledge.

No cameras from Earth can give images of the vehicles on the moon.

  • Look up LCROSS...

  • What does Kennedy say? "Why (something something) plays Texas"?

  • Why does Rice play Texas, he was speaking at Rice University in Houston, Texas. President Kennedy was referring to two rival college football teams in Texas. Hes asking the rhetorical question, why even play football? He then continues to say that humanity does things like climb mountains, play football and explore space in order to direct our energies and skills into positive actions.

  • As I recall, Texas was a world beater in that era....Rice not so much. I think the question was a set up for the "not because it is easy but because it is hard" remark.

  • CIA = Conspiracy Idiots Alliance.

  • Nice series, but unreal, like the (visible) stars at the end. The series exactly show that is was impossible to fake a moonlanding in 1969.

For un4g1v3n1 and his vicar Greenmagoos: I guess the CIA wasn't invited at the set of the series?

By the way, I see you collect a lot of thumbs.

  • And don't you just love the convincing Earth and STARS at the very end. Wow, now that's a much more real, fake lunar view eh?

  • He didn't say that they would NOT need to be a poet.

  • Conspiracy numbnuts are just so jalous of those men and women that made it there. That's why they have to complain about it.

Let's go back there and see what is going to show up up there! Long live to the space program.

  • @psvvac2 None women made it to the moon.

  • @psvvac2 your right indeed... I didnt remembered i wrote that 3 damn years ago!! Anyhow, you get the point?

  • Yip.

That sure is a moonset Sun.

Luve the lighting. As realistic as the 'real' thing.

  • That moonset sure does look like the "real" Moon that we got to see in all of the Apollo videos.. Even the Sun looks identical.. How about that!.. LOL

  • as your quote from Tom Hanks ends...

"...until we go up there and start tramping around the place AGAIN".

Also said in the clip (3:32) that they attempted to show this in a way that's "never been done before".

No, Tom his not a wing nut conspiracy theorist.

  • Tom Hanks. Who is a professional..no..a guru in using words. In his speech he is "underlining" words "..is going to be" (3 times) and "mystery". Not the word "again". It is there clearly, just and only, because he had to say it in some point. ;)

  • Why moon hoax fans are so inclined to read into remarks (Tom Hanks "underlining" words - JokerisWebCams, Neil Armstrong's presentation to youths, etc., etc.) like these guys are actually trying to speak in code to anyone who will listen.

Ridiculous. The thought of Tom Hanks hiding his remarks like that. Why, then, would he be so instrumental in bringing back the thrill of Apollo with projects such as Apollo 13 and From the Earth to the Moon? This is not the work of someone who lacks belief

  • I surely hope, that soon we'll see images of LM descent stage, lunar rover or something, anything, left on the surface of the moon, taken by another instance than Nasa. My greatest wish is, that i was wrong with all my claims.

  • Actually, the man providing this qoute is David Scott, veteran of three space flights and Commander of Apollo 15. He graduated near the top of his West Point class and now runs a successful technology company.

    Not a retard.

  • Great Series!
