@ahcariel Best driver of this generation? Considering Hamilton arrived in his debut season and whooped Alonso (who promptly had a hissy fit and threw his toys out of his $30 million pram), I doubt they're reeling too much. Lewis then won the title in '08. Hahaha!

The whole point of motor racing, at any level, but especially in F1, should be about overtaking, a competition between drivers and their cars. This track is like the antithesis of all that.

Sure it's glamorous, and the area is home to loads of over-rich celebrities with no taste, and the sights around the tack are great, but as a racing spectacle, it's one of the worst on the F1 calendar, deadly boring.

Let me get this right, Monaco is special because quallifying basically determines where you'll finish in the race? That is the single worst reason to call a race track special that I've ever heard.

I want unpredictability, I want overtaking and for cars/drivers to show their quality. On this track a guy could be 5 secs a lap faster then the driver in front and yet stay behind him for the whole race!
