@MothraSue Yes, admittedly, the vegetarian part is weak. However, it was used to illustrate the whims and vagaries of people. I have had even less logical things thrown at me. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest though!
how are loving animals and eating meat related? friend vs food! very different purpose!!! now if your pet is a cow, just don't eat the steak in front of them and you should be fine

@RedneckYachtClubber my fave is when ppl tell me that feeding goldfish to my oscar, wilbur, is cannibalism. its only cannibalism if an organism eats an organism of the same species. besides, its fun to watch him inhale those things!
Lol "do you promise?" I had told the breeder that I got my dog from that I worked in a in small animal vet's office cleaning kennels and holding animals during examinations. Then she brought me to her barn and asked me if I could tell her what was wrong with her horse's leg.
I especially like the part where the indignant vegetarian threatens to tell his dog that the veterinarian doesn't like animals because he eats meat.
What makes these little videos so appealing and funny is that there is a ring of truth in them sadly. It's kind of scary when you think these people can actually vote! Sure explains a lot of things.
I had people ask me to diagnose their pet's limp or rash when I told them I was majoring in animal science. Even after I explained that I was not only not a vet, I was not even pre-vet, and that even if I was a vet I could not diagnose their pet without seeing them, they would still persist in trying to get me to say what it could be.

We laugh at work watching these videos, because these are exactly how our clients are. I need to make one about our client with the pet psychic that she talks to over the phone.
THIS is what I have to look forward to if I want to become a vet? *shakes head* I don't think I could refrain from reaching out and slapping someone.
