I mean, why not just ignore Rob? Why so defensive? and why go so far as to mock [Brother] Rob in this fashion? Brother Todd is really doing a discredit to himself in doing this, at least he is with me. I can't even take him and his program seriously most of the time because quite frankly, Todd behaves very erratically and ridiculous.

When Todd and others go all militant against Rob and others....I don't know what they think they're trying to prove. All this tells me is that Rob and everyone else who gets treated in this most un-Christlike way by Todd and his friends are on to something, all it tells me is that Rob has struck a deep nerve with Todd and his fellow latter-day Pharisees and that what Rob says is at least to some degree, true! That's all this type of response from Todd and his likes proves.

@adambomb312 So what would you say to Jesus when he said "Repent for the kingdom is at hand" and also sent his disciples out with the same message? Its actually how he started his ministry. Todd in another one of his videos makes the point that we have two means to convey the gospel when witnessing. One is grace and the other is law. If they are proud/self-righteous then we expose this, in a loving manner, by showing them the law. If they realize they're broken sinners they get grace/mercy.

In the interview with Martin Bashir, Bell was asked if to accept Christ in this life was relavent to salvation, he replied that what happens after this life is just "spectualtion"....Hmmm...prett­y sure the Bible is clear on that on... Either your with the Father, or not (Lake of FIre). Why dont you remove the heretical fog from your square rim glasses and read your Bible.

I think you completely missed the point of Rob Bells video in this response. He didn't say that we don't tell them about hell and salvation, but he said that we don't scream it at them if we want them to believe what we're saying. Why can't people understand that there has to be balance? You actually proved Rob RIGHT by talking to those people with respect and love. He was contrasting yelling at somebody, and doing exactly what you did. I don't know how you didn't see that.

Hey. I have news fro you. There's something beyong the ten commandments. It's called the New Testament: the Gospel the Good News, the liberation that Christ granted us in the cross salvation from sin and liberation from the law. We are saved by faith not by deeds.

@franconstanza Ive got news for you...Jesus said the Law will never pass away...that liberation only come from a Holy Spirit inspired repentence of sin. James tells us "faith without deeds is dead", deeds automatically come with true faith and repentence.

Thats how I was converted, I had people preaching to me my whole life, on both sides, christians and athiests telling me they were right, I never had anything else, I wanted nothing to do with either, than I was put into a dr. love enviornment, and these people were happy. And I litterally thought, maybe theres something to this christianity thing. that is what he meas by show love, "not let him walk off a cliff"

One can not be a born again christian until he first realizes that he has sinned against God and that when he dies he will go straight to hell. That is why street preachers come out in their own time and preach the FULL GOSPEL, not a heretical half Gospel which only speaks of God's love as do christians within modern churches. These people who only preach God's love really have no idea what God's love truly is.

Sure rationality can work and besides rob bell wasnt talking about people like you any way. He was simply offering an alternative to hate and condmnation with love and understanding, eventually making them want to "take the vitamins" too.

Romans 3:10-18 makes it very clear mankind in its degenerate fallen state will never choose God on its own, "there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God..." Before man can accept Gods love he must understand, through the holy spirit, that b/c of his sin he is doomed and unless he repents unto Christ there is no salvation. That was the message of John the Baptist, Jesus and Paul, not through "fun"

"Alternative to hate and condemnation"?... It takes more love to tell someone that no matter what you do you will be tormented forever and ever just b/c you were born. Thats what the Gospel is, despite your evil nature God decided to save you, given you accept Him. You dont "win' people over. You dont do a thing. You preach the Word of God and the Holy Spirit convicts and pushes people to Christ. Becoming a Christian is not supposed to be "fun", its picking up your cross and dying to yourself.

your over simplifying "Dr. Love." He isnt saying just love them, hes saying I'll be nice and loving, and take the medicine in front of you, but as opposed to forcing it on you show you how and saying hey you should take it so you get better he shows you, he has a higher quality of life taking it. Kind of like how you get a kid to take vitamins. You dont force it on them, they will than resentfully take it. And you obviously cant rationalize with a child on taking things they dont want.
