The top 30 may include the top 1% but it is still paying the entire burden the top 1% do not. People in the 40-50% are below the poverty line. many would starve to death if they did not recieve any type of cuts and taxing them would not cover any of the debts , the top 1% control about 35% of the economy , The bottom 50% only get 1%
@revhowardgoss Furthermore how can you ask those below poverty to to pay for all the social programs, the wars, the public schools, the teachers, etc. Middle class they are left with the burden of not only helping out the lower classes, but also paying for the top 1% who do not pay enough in Taxes. And that is money that can no longer be invested in a business, or buy equipment, or expand, or pay private employees. So it actually results in job losses somewhere else. You took a job from one place and moved it to another. Net gain? Zero.
@revhowardgoss Who builds roads and fixes them. Infrastructure is not free and someone has to flip the bill. Also yes social programs ( which are sadly necessary) cost money too, and you say no net gain. What losses happen when infrastructure ( which is failing) would we have to pay when it crumbles. The average citizen does not have the means to fix roads, pay for the military, pay parks and rec, pay for social programs etc. It costs billions to repair roads and bridges, who gets the bill?

@revhowardgoss I live in a town where they only patch roads when enough people complain and then after they are "FIXED" they get pot holes in the same places. I do see this in my home state. 680 is constantly being patched and not really repaired. There is a road between Napa and Santa Rosa that is crumbling and not even getting patched despite complaints. And these are two of the more conservative and richer counties. it is not propaganda I am observing it in my town and state.

The top 30 may include the top 1% but it is still paying the entire burden the top 1% do not. People in the 40-50% are below the poverty line. many would starve to death if they did not recieve any type of cuts and taxing them would not cover any of the debts , the top 1% control about 35% of the economy , The bottom 50% only get 1%

@Nortatem If you want jobs, get out of the way of the private sector. They will invest and jobs will result. I have a friend who has a thriving business. In normal circumstances he would expand. I heard him say he is not going to think about expanding until the uncertainty of higher taxes and burdensome regulation is resolved. People don't know what that idiot Obama will do, and they're not going to get stuck holding the bag. How can government create jobs? They can't.

@Nortatem When govt. makes a job, where do they get the money to pay the salary? They take it from someone else. And that is money that can no longer be invested in a business, or buy equipment, or expand, or pay private employees. So it actually results in job losses somewhere else. You took a job from one place and moved it to another. Net gain? Zero.

@revhowardgoss Who builds roads and fixes them. Infrastructure is not free and someone has to flip the bill. Also yes social programs ( which are sadly necessary) cost money too, and you say no net gain. What losses happen when infrastructure ( which is failing) would we have to pay when it crumbles. The average citizen does not have the means to fix roads, pay for the military, pay parks and rec, pay for social programs etc. It costs billions to repair roads and bridges, who gets the bill?

@revhowardgoss I live in a town where they only patch roads when enough people complain and then after they are "FIXED" they get pot holes in the same places. I do see this in my home state. 680 is constantly being patched and not really repaired. There is a road between Napa and Santa Rosa that is crumbling and not even getting patched despite complaints. And these are two of the more conservative and richer counties. it is not propaganda I am observing it in my town and state.

We all are taught by different role models all given different opportunities and yes some of us have been shut down from opportunities based on bad credit scores ( and not from living beyond means but getting terminated so a companies CEO can buy another condo.)
