anchor doesn't drop. it drops cash. because its a quest item you can buy after the quest i think

before bh i killed my friend in a dm for it and i didnt get his anchor i got 240k i think

fallsgrave-- the anchor is i think the only item in rs that turns into money if u kill some1 with it... cause its quest obtained and it would b unfair for some1 to kill and not get anything and unfair to kill and get anchor if u havetn done quest so they made it drop money its around 240k i think or 340k

no the quest gives broken anchor you pay 230k not 250k to fix it when you die they get that 230k you can go back to the monk for a broken anchor but it will cost you another 230k to fix it.
