I remember watching this on NBC in 2000, and the NBC feed showcased the Bananas In Pajamas float, Greg Norman on top of a shark (duh), and Elle Macpherson on a moving catwalk as Kylie Minogue sang this song. They didn't mention the Priscilla Queen of the Desert float and the many drag queens around it, though. And Dame Edna Everage was nowhere to be found. Still, good times.

Possibly the gayiest moments in olympic history. I was up on the hill at Dover Heights waiting for the bridge fireworks and everyone was watching it on someones little portable TV. Good memories. However, Kevindl1985, I remeber people booing the USA coming into the stadium for the opening ceremony, so the whole world did in fact hate you then aswell. Peace out.
