I saw someone do this without an Eidolon before, but idk how...is there another way? Like a Limit item or something (like Brutal in Crisis Core)

Anything think I can just buff my attack with Synergist? My Fang already does 90,000 with normal attacks. But, By the time she gets more, The enemy is usually killed.

@XSevenSonata Sorry I meant "anyone" And never mind I got it with Fang while debuffing with Saboteur. I had to kill orphan again though because other enemies I've tried die too fast =\ thanks swimfatman.

dude i got that achievement with fang and a king behomethe than i just used highwind on it until i got the achievement

heres the easiest method, find one of those stupid little soldiers, then megaflare with bahamut. got the achievement without even knowing that it existed lol

If you are having a problem with the Trophy/achievement and it isn't popping up...you have to actually finish the fight. But if you do finish the fight, try to save, sign out, and sign back in.

@einoros Actually if death fails, its just causes normal magic damage.

@ino145 I couldn't wait.. So tried it now. And it worked! I did the "Final Attack" just before the Stagger ended and did 127K+ Then finished the battle, and Poof! The Throphy. Thank you! :D You rock!

@ino145 PS: Did it at the 2 mobs that you always get a Pre-emptive strike at. In The Archylte Steppe. ^^

I fluked it with Hope's Alexander. I 4 got I got the new Eidolon and remembered I had him halfway through my 1st mission with that blue flan thing and summoned him to test him out then BINGO, achievement.

@slayerr4365 well i would agree with u if i didnt have the achievment and others have claimed to have gotten it as well. something i havnt tried but theorize is that perhaps it has to be the finishing blow. or perhaps they have patched it and it was a glitch.

@SuperKingNova im not to sure wat that is all about. it sounds like evertime u summon ur game trys to run the sequence in its programming and freezes into a infinite loop. possibly scratched?

@swimfatman No, no. like robots on chapter 5 there's alot of them after the cut-scene with Snow and the ice or something. After the cutscene you have to fight quite a few enemies. :S

I haven't played this game in over 6 months because of it. It's the part where you're moving as Lightning (If I can remember lol) and you see a cut-scene with snow punching the crystal Ice then you get into a fight with quite a few enemies.

Ok now I'm just confused.. I had 999.9% on the stagger gauge of an ectopudding and used a level 3 mega flare.. but only hit 98k..

@Valdraya i would try it on a different creature. from my experience ectopuddings have high defense against physical attacks and even tho i wouldnt consider mega flare as a physical attack the game developers may have thot it was. i would try a silver lobo or a creature close tto a silver lobo. like megastotherian or watever its called. that way physical damage will be greater

@swimfatman im just saying you dont have to wait until you fight the Juggernauts to get it...... just simply summon bahamut on any enemy staggered or not and you should get it unless your dudes are weak.....

@MegaThunderstrike to be honest with u i dont think they reflect them. i think the eidolons stats are permanent. id jus try it out.

I got it with Hope and Alexander on an Undying battle, that big Shambling Cie'th one in Chap 11. I had no cue I got it.

@123stepper yeah you got 10 thousand and 18 points, you would have got the achievement if you dealt 100018 damage. Their is an extra 0.

I did this on chapter 11 with the exact same strategy and got over 100k damage and the achievement still wouldn't pop up? (even double-tried just to make sure it was over 100k)

Can someone explain why or is it like a glitch? (or do I have to do it later in the game?)

@Allank2468 I'm not sure what is happening. me and several other people have been able to get the achievement this way.

@swimfatman Sorry! Found the problem ... I didn't actually finish the fight xD (just dealt the 100k damage) But I got the achievement either way from a "vampire" by this same strategy because of all their weaknesses and they almost never attack you (so it's an easy win too)

i got this game and fucking love it only on like chapter three.... but im wondering does it become a freeroam when u get far enoth? cause i here theres side quests and i cant rlly see how they are going to fit in in the way the game is flowing right now...........

@08Dazza80 yea pretty much. up until u get to the sidequests the game is basically just a giant introduction. i suggest to do sidequests after u beat the game. then go back to them. cuz then u got somethings called waypoints which jus teleport u.
