Fear instigates and perpetuates much of this violence. Fear of retaliation keeps witnesses silent. Fear of change and the fear of working hard to succeed in life keeps these kids down. Nothing but education and government financial assistance can rectify these instances. Good luck on that shit in this environment though. Sad story indeed
