The gym is called Natural Muscle, in Ascot Vale, Melbourne Australia. They are a really good bunch, but I was just surprised that the 'no saturated fat' is so indoctrinated into the body building industry. How would you go about 'cutting back' for competition? I know that everyone just keeps away from saturated fat for these 6 to 8 weeks prior to comp. And I see them lose muscle bulk while they do this, which they have worked so hard for prior.
@mcritcs That's a bit far from Miami :) I would recommend to use coconut oil. It is a great source of saturated fat and it will increases your metabolism and keep you lean or make you even leaner.
Yes, finally some guys with some sense. Love you guys. Can you please come to our gym and tell those guys to eat some egg yolks, coconut oil, quality (grass fed) lard, butter etc. They wouldn't look so old for their age if they did that. Too many years not knowing the good and bad fats. They have lots of flax seed oil as well, which I would be a bit cautious about, related to greater incidence of prostate problems.
I never gave it up, and I have never been obese!
