Here's the irony: user name douglasj53 - yeah I turned 56 last weekend! When I was a kid I was kind of a musical snob (idiot if you will) My thinking was "Beatles or nothing. ABBA??? You mean those disco guys?" Later in life I became pretty learned at music theory and stumbled upon a recording of "Waterloo." I was floored. Mozart has nothing on Bjorn Ulvaeus. Actually it was originally from the Pat Benatar album "Precious Time". It was written by Kelly/Sheets/Benatar and was later on the "Best Shots" album.

I really don't get it why some people need to down grade one of the ABBA women because they think the other was a better singer or they like that one better. What the hell is it with them? These 2 were great singers in their own right, but when they sang together it was just magic. Man, it was over 25 years ago that they stopped performing together and they will never perform together again and thats the way it is. Thank you for posting this great vocal performance by Frida.

great preformance Frida was a rocker chick she pulls this off very well :o) regarding the jealousy I do not think the girls were ever friends to begin with they just work together.I think anytime you have a group like this who are around each other 24/7 there will be problems its natrual.I also think both marriage broke up also for this very reason.I laugh when people say one sings better than the other how... their voices were so simular and harmonies were perfect for me both are brilliant :o)

there were two things I didn't like about Frida.....you could see the envy and jealousy she had towards Agnetha in Frida's eyes....and also Agnetha's movement was smooth and silky...Frida's dance movements were always herky-jerky...but Frida did have a sweeter sounding singing voice.

Imagine always giving the best effort in every performance and nobody cares.....everybody is paying all their attention to Agnetha!.............you could see Frida's jealousy in her eyes in some of their performances.....but I can't blame Frida for it,almost any girl who had Agnetha as her partner would be jealous also.

Yes, I guess that is true. But then some people preferred Frida over Agnetha, I don't think there was such a big difference in the favours. But I certainly see where you get the jealousy from, I agree that sometimes she did look jealous.
