I am so proud of my Aunt, USAFR Lt. Col. Virginia Loraine Sweet and am sorry to say she has taken her "final flight" as of July 12, 2009, but she knows about this great honor bestowed upon her.

Wow I never learned about this. These women are incredible and incredibly brave. This isn't in any textbook and this is such an incredible story. I'll be sure to tell people about this. Their outlook at life during WWII was 60 years ahead of their time.
