jacob, thanks for your comments. We hope that education about the therapeutic benefits of marijuana will help to overcome the prejudices associated with the word. It's a long, slow process, but I think it's working. I wish it were as easy as using "cannabis" for "marijuana" but it's not, though I do use the terms interchangeably at times.
Let's stop using the term marijuana. It's not even a real word. It was thought up to incite and provoke fear back in the 50's and 60's. If you want to educate the public on the benefits of marijuana as medicine, use the term cannabis. Plain and simple. Educate the public on the benefits of Cannabis as Medicine. If you really want to change this from a tool for the Law to make money off your arrest to Pharmacies staying in business for increased demand in medicine, stop saying marijuana.

@jacob7207 marijuana is a real word. it refers to tobacco that grows wild. other than that, you're good to go.
