1. La cathédrale-aux-armées des Invalides n'est pas "un temple voué à la Gueuze" mais une église placée sous l'invocation de Saint Louis, roi de France.
2. Le Credo n'est pas une hymne mais une partie de l'Ordinaire de la messe.
3. Il n' y a pas d'incompatibilité entre république et catholicisme (encycliques "Nobilissima Gallorum Gens (1884) et "Inter Sollicitudines" (1892) de S.S. Léon XIII).
When I's minor seminarian in Sriracha, Thailand, we very often sang this Mass. There were hundreds of singers, it seems it was very solemnly sung, when hundreds of very well trained sang. It's one of our most favourite Masses. Every week and all festivities we were obliged to sing Gregorian. Our Desclée & Cie of Tournai, Belgium Liber Usualis was our manual book. We sang all the book around the year. It was the nicest time in my life. When I returned to parish church, few could sing it. Thanks
