in order to get a completely accurate measurement you should probably use CPM. If you don't use CPM you'll need to know the energy to get a real measurement

I also wouldn't base a accurate measurent on a cheap rusian geiger counter. I this case i use it only for detecting and comparing the radiation.

Thanks for the vids. Very interesting. Think you could do a quick vid on how to set the Radex?  I purchased one but the poor instructions translated from Russian to English make it hard to understand how to do even simple things like getting the background radiation reading set. You seem to have a great grasp of using the Radex. It would sure be appreciated if you could do a tutorial vid or two on it!
