@lesmkuen the only reason my hair is also very long is because i rarely got a haircut lol your hair will still grow even with all the dead ends nor will dead ends slow the process of your hair growth. its all just a matter of how much damage you can do to your hair before your next hair cut. Layered haircuts will also make your hair's body appear and feel thinner. I hope this helped you out! Anymore questions regarding hair feel free to drop me a comment! @lesmkuen Well actually my hair was SUPER fried, over processed from bleach and too thinned out so for 2 years i layed off the teasing, bleaching and i rarely used hot tools. Also ,i used Nioxin shampoo when i first decided my hair needed rehab. I always towel blotted my hair instead of blowing it out ever since. then all i really use is tresseme, aussie or herbal essences. any shampoo/conditioner with panthenol will make your hair thicker, you just gotta find the right product!

@pxnchelina It's simple! I just part it the way id want it to fall into place naturally and cut it in a U or V shape. The longest point of my bangs fall right above my nose bridge when i dont style them. Hope this helps. I'll probably do a tutorial on them next time i trim them :)
