This is great advertising, and I'm as cynical as they come.If you don't like the voice you probably never listened to live music in your life. It is outrageously, awesomely cool. If you don't like this you didn't like the music from The Wire, or from True Blood, or anything that ever came out of a guitar band based on blues. It's dirty Nick Cave or Tex Perkins playing on the night of your first kiss. It's expectation and abandoned dancing, of youth discovering possibilities. It's life's promise.

If you understand anything about sales and marketing then you'll realise just how good this ad is....just look how many people have bothered to comment on it and how it has polarised the public. There is absolutely no doubt that it has reached the demographic target group and whether you love it or hate it the ad agency deserves a conceptual big big thumbs up for this one!!!!

The music and singer, "one of Australia's most incredible voices" who I've never even heard of before, are the absolute worst. Christmas is a time of joy, and the music sounds so slow and depressing, it's like the song's being played back on a cassette player low on battery power.

On top of that, I have no idea who Rachael Taylor is, except from hearing her name from channel 9's advertisement for the over-hyped, failed reboot of Charlie's Angels... but apparently she's well-known, I guess.
