@jakelilman To be honest, both are great for entirely different reasons. Academy had that "Original Trilogy" feel to it (Especially since they piped John Williams' OT soundtrack during every fight :p) while KOTOR was a wonderful glimpse at something new. I've put just as many hours into one as the other, and I honestly can't say which one I would prefer to play more. KOTOR had a far better story and was deeper, to be sure, but Academy was just so much more thrilling on a regular basis.

@Oliebolletje11 It was pretty good at release date. It's Quake III engine afterall. Still, I prefer Jedi Knights series over Force Unleashed. There is no comparision, Jedi Knight's duels stomp over TFU.

They should make Star Wars - Sith Academy!

Making it take place during the Old Republic, where you start off as a sith apprentice, but start questioning your motives.. So just like Jedi Academy, you would be able to make the same choice of the Dark or Light side, just like in Jedi Academy..

Think of it.. All the customization options from Jedi Academy, combined with the productionvalues of the force unleashed.

Yep, and you can get it on Steam along with 4 other games (well one or two are expansion packs) in the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series for 20 bucks! Not sure if steam downloads DOSbox (a program to play the older games from the 90s) or if you need to, but it automatically launches them with that and they work fine to (except the full motion video cinematics don't play in Full Screen on those, but the game does, the controls also need a little twiking in the original "Jedi Knight").

JK, or Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, is a different, earlier game. JK2, or Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, was the sequel to JK. It is also abbreviated as JO. Jedi Academy, also known as JA, is the sequel to JK2.

My favorite of all of them is Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. It features excellent game play, a fine, mature story, good voice acting, and playing the single player story really feels like being in the Star Wars Universe. JA's story isn't good, but the online game is very good.

This game is generally a 3rd person shooter. You can toggle 1st person on and off though. It has SP and MP, but the MP community is dead. I favor this over KOTOR. You should try this game out if you are looking for a great Star Wars game. There is a large modding community for this game also.

The default key for the PC is "P". I think all guns also have automatic 1st person, and Light Sabers and swords are 3rd person. You can have 3rd person guns, but not 1st person sabers.

im not saying that im the best person there is in playing this game because i cannot compare my skill to others because i never actually played multiplayer online but, during my JA days I almost done all the stunt u can think of like climbing the wall followed by 3 combos ang lightning, pushing then pulling the enemy and hit him like a baseball, repelling the projectile to another sith like volleyball(funny!!). Im a dual sword handler of that time all blue lightsabres very cool... ^_^

For my opinion this is the BEST action game period. This game is in my list of the best of all time. I know some of u there like Half-life 2(I like it too ^_^), diablo and other godly games but this game has the most action, like crazy exibition if u know how to dodge quickly, throwing lightsabre and jumping on a building like a freaki'n ninja. I missed my JA days... Im not a starwars fanatic in fact i hate starwars but its the action i seek. So all of u there seeking action i recomend this game

sucks that the force unleashed has no multiplayer, has very few jedi vs sith battles.. and is only 9 hours long, no to mention restrictions on the force powers. no force choke past the first level, only grip, push and lightning... o well reinstalling JKJA as we speak..
