Way back in 1894, a little girl named Madeline Crothe was skipping through the woods when a mysterious man in black snatched her. He brought her to his house, tourtered her, and starved her to death. he's from delaware. i live in delaware.. my mom did his parents kitchen.. i have his autogrpah (anmd reese's) and my daddy was friends with his brother..
Personally, I think "Flags" is a lot like the 60s film "The Outsider"--the story about Ira Hayes, starring Tony Curtis. (an excellent companion piece to Flags)
His heroes are those who are trained killers. Those who allow themselves to be pawned for political reasons and don't object to what they are commanded to do when it is morally wrong. Some heroes....
But the whole point of the movie is to show why we shouldn't worship them. Those men who put up the flags. They don't want to be worshiped, they wanted to go back and fight that war but our country kept them from it. Sad you guys.
I'm actually impressed with how mature and composed he is in this interview. I usually lump him together with the likes of Justin Timberlake or Paul Walker as far as what his fanbase looks like, but this interview indicates that maybe he's grown up a bit.
I still have yet to be impressed by his acting though. I usually find him wooden and distant.
I have never really cared for Ryan all that much, but I went to the first showing of this on Friday and it was excellent! I highly recommend seeing it.
yes.,but the real war is not like we see in the movies.,i think you cannot even imagine how is like to be in the mixed mud with body parts and dieing ppl around you(or already dead)..i just hope that soon, the only wars we will see.,will be in the movies only..God bless and peace to all.,
Anyone who participates in the political discourse and the process is a patriot. The fact they care enough about the country to be involved rather than be stopped by condescending cynicism of the intelligentsia on the other side of the debate is sufficient evidence. Just because someone is an actor doesn't make his or her opinions or public stances invalid. The snobbery of your remark is pathetic.

This interview really sparked my interest in the movie. It is nice when an actor is actually entusiastic about a moveie that they are making.
