James voice isn't the same because of all the touring Metallica has done over the years, not so much him blowing out his voice. The Black album was recorded after James blew out his voice and it sounda amazing. How many guys that have been playing as long as Metallica sounds as good as they did in their prime? It just happens, I watching some recent Rush vids and Geddy's voice has taken a hit.

Black Album was just before James blew out his voice. He went through a period in the middle of this decade where he was cracking a lot on stage, but the '08 and '09 performances have been MUCH better, more like 90's Hetfield.

james voice is off because he blew his voice a while ago, thats y whenever u try to play along with the newer vids, it sounds different, unless you tune down 1/2 a step. its easier for him to sing. but anyways great concert, my cousin was here. i love ths ending like kirks extra riff at the end. brilliant performance
