i cook this last night it was great, i love how your in detail into how much of every ingredient to put in. You made me look like a pro chef last night lol. thanks again
may i ask why you didn't start by browning the meat directly in the dutch oven before dumping in all the other ingredients? all the browning bits and flavor just kinda stayed behind on your pan. :(
Chili like you made comes in two different styles, chili with beans and chili without beans. So there is no wrong or right. It just depends on whether someone wants chili beans or just plain chili. :-)
I am using your recipe since it is fast and basically simple for starters like myself. I'm adding some other suggestions. I'm learning so much about chili while doing searches. I now I have to go out and buy the chili powder, LOL and parsley. It's a first for me. Wish me luck! And thank you! For non-beef eaters, there is a product called "crumbles" it looks like chopped meat already cooked and frozen. I eat it instead of beef.
Thank you so much I have been looking for this 4 ever my mom past away two years ago and I never got to ask how she made her chilli and yours is very simalar. Thank you.
@carlblemming improve the knife skills for one and give the dish some love, fresh products always taste nice. chilli con carnie you should have many flavours in your mouth all at once so chunky bits dont sound so good to me. and basil is a strong herb its meant to complement the dish this looks like its taking over the dish.
Very nice. Since we had kids who did not like spicy hot foods, I came up with a mild but full flavored chili. The adults add red pepper flakes and hot sauce at the table, the kids eat theirs without the fire. Everyone is happy! I really like this recipe of yours and I want to give it a try. Thanks for a great video!
man we look like we could be related. lmao. anywho looking at ingredients looks like a chili to me. chili has a huge range of styles. yours is just about how i make mine. actually tying to find a chili made with Jack Daniels, Bacon, Italian Sausage, and hamburger.
@carlblemming I tried this recipe with my grandfather and we all loved it good thing we still have some leftover to share some with our father who is willing to try it out when he comes from work. This recipe is very great and it's so tasty better then the prepared chili from the local super market. This is a Must-Try recipe it'll leave your mouth watering. Once again thank you for this tasty recipe sir :)
lol that looked like a lot of salt X3

Do you have to add the beans? I don't know what it is, but I just hate kidney beans...
RainbowsPukeSkittles 7 months ago
@RainbowsPukeSkittles There's a lot of beans in the recipe. If you take them out, something else will have to go in.
