I had very high hopes for the Eleven Rack, based upon some great YouTube vids. However, after 10 months, I'm really considering selling it. Having trouble with Pro-Tools; very inconsistent with tracks receiving signal, or having the correct drop-down list to select eleven rack as input. Playing a $3K PRS Custom 24 through it, and not too thrilled with the tones. Did some tweaking, some downloading of patches, but not convinced. Others sem to have great success with this unit. Disappointed.
Well tone is a subjective thing. Look at the Rockman. When those were released people considered them to be tinny electronic sounding garbage (though i disagree). Now it is considered a classic tone...so if you are dissatisfied with your tone then maybe this isn't the unit for you. Also the price of your guitar has ZILCH to do with your tone.
@chickabuka The Eleven Rack is by it self an audio interface. Does have 1 very good quality mic preamp, 2 line inputs (+4dBu / -10dbV), reamp and digital inputs (S/PDIF + AES). Run via USB 2.0 straigh to computer. No external audio interfaces needed. :)
the priest one is pretty dang close. not quite though. but closest i've heard anyone get other than priest themselves. i almost have enough money saved up, half way there! great playing!!
I find that when I play these kinds of things with headphones, I like a dash of reverb, but when I play the same sound through speakers, the reverb is way too much.
wow nice demo man , i was wondering if this thing had some great high gain tones for metal ,punk rock etc..
im looking for a all in one solution for bedroom , im tired of crappy sound like line 6 , peavey vypyr etc.. i want something that sound more profesionnal .
Is it bette rthan the average modeler ( vox valvetronix , roland cube , line 6 pod , peavey vypyr ) ???
@artifact26 For bedroom it's pretty good, I was kinda disappointed with it for live use, It's def better than line 6 or vypyr, the new line 6 hd stuff might be good? I use GR4 right now and through a tube power amp it sounds amazing
@eddie7314 I've had my 11 back for about three month's or so and have been able to explore it's potential and I need to take back what I said here about the 11 being used live, it's very good live and is much better than GR4 by the way, the 11 rack has turned out to be the best piece of gear I've ever purchased and I still don't own the expansion pack yet.
@eddie7314 Hi there, I agree a little bit with you when you say that 11R for live it wa disapointed. However I can tell you for shure if you dedicate lots of time calibrating your tones in the prestes, eq.s, mics, cabinets and other, you can get the best guitar sound ever! I've noticed that 11R changes a little bit his tone, but you also have to remember, using amplifiers or phones is not the same as using straigh to a P.A..
@eddie7314 I'm allways changing my tones in 11R and I use amplifiers for monitoring. However, my guitar sound that goes to the P.A. via the main XLR outs using no other equipment is "AMAZING", not my words, words from various sound engeneers. I garantee Nice Demo bro ;)
@ThisOldMan44 It was the SLO100 amp sim for Preist and the M-2 for Metallica, no external pedals all Eleven Rack going into a powered mixer, I needed the cash so I got rid of it, so I'm using Guitar Rig 4 now something I had before the 11 ,

Sounds good.
1. What amp model did you use for this?
2. Did you use any external pedals with it, or is it all 11R?
3. What made you get rid of the 11R? What have you replaced it with?
