I loved the Andy Williams' Family Christmas shows every year, as well as Bing Crosby's. Back in the days before cable when we only had a few channels shows like these, along with several other Christmas specials, would be anticipated every year and became part of the excitement of the season. Who knew at the time that it was just a small slice of history - after tv, before cable.

When I think of the beauty of my growing up years..........the Andy Williams show was a huge part of it. It's hard to imagine having grown up without the great variety shows. I wouldn't choose another time to have grown up in.

Think about all of the great talent that came over just 3 channels back in that day, not just Andy Williams but Perry Como, Dean Martin, and the list goes on. Now, with all the ridiculous money made by for the most part far less talented people, it's impossible to cost effectively produce such shows anymore. Better to have had what we did on 3 channels than the 300 channel jungle today.

This is the first time I've seen this duet in a millenia, and I'm afraid my opinion hasn't been changed.

Whatever Claudine Longet's claim to fame is, it certainly isn't as a singer.

Looking at the opening minute of this song, both of them give the impression that they would rather be somewhere else. Andy's eyes are saying "Who the hell is she".

I appreciate and respect Andy Williams as a singer, but please, neither one of them did themselves any favours because of this rubbish.

Politics has nothing to do with it. Ratings play a part as to why religious shows aren't aired on the "big 3". They're made all the time; they're just aired on other channels. As for this, Christmas shows area aired like crazy this time of year--I saw "Charlie Brown Christmas" last week and Linus' monologue is still intact.

I'm still waiting to see the little drummer boy and other christian shows for Xmas,every easter they used to put stories ,such as Ben Hur, Barrabas, the only thing they play is The 10 Commandements I would like to see more christian orientated programming but the past 10 years there is alot of christian bashing and a whole generation of kids are really missing out, God bless Linus and Charles Shultz I don't think anyone phrased and explained Xmas as well as he did.

Ben Hur is always on TMC every easter and ABC still airs the 10C's every easter, you just have to find it (I missed it twice) and they never air the widescreen version. I don't see a lot of Christian-bashing programs, but a least the old stuff is still around. All thoss others shows are shown on ABC Family, if they still have the 25 days of xmas.
