  • I have same errors, but after service tests it shows that theres also a problem with black cartridge and analogue multiplexer. Does it mean that the problem is in the trailing cable?

  • @x2nux This fault is usually with the align media, it is not normally just cartridges and data. The fault could be down to one of three parts Trailing cable, Carriage pca or Electronics module. If you would like us to quote for an engineer to attend site to assess the fault and carry out aservice/repair please don't hesitate to contact us at: repairs@hpplotter.co.uk

  • how did u repaier this error

  • @azizmanna

The carriage sensor has failed & requires replacing.

Are you based in UK...If so give us a call.

  • i am from palastine ' i have the same error , but after i press cancel the plotter work fine

  • @azizmanna

    The carriage sensor is failing.

The DesignJet indicates this error because it has failed to see the white plastic mark encoder on the platen roller.

Because the paper being loaded is nice & big (& clean) the sensor still sees the paper & the DesignJet continues to work.

Sooner or later the sensor will also fail to see the paper & then you have a non-working DesignJet.

Take the error as a warning & look to source a replacement sensor.

  • @HPPlotter

  • @HPPlotter

  • @azizmanna

    Please email me directly: tony@hpplotter.co.uk

I will then attempt to assist.
