Great video, didn't know the Beta Quartz Module had a sweep second hand. Definitely in contrast to the later Oysterquartz models - you have a truly rare piece :)
I've got 2 oysterquartz and have passed them off as counterfeits when questioned. When you buy them, you buy for yourself and don't care what others think. Besides, if I'm ever robbed, I'd berate them for doing such a crime for a fake watch.

@mezmezmez1974 I wish all quartz movements were built in that way. :-( I would buy so many watches in a heart beat instead of blowing piles of cash to get selected automatics :-( :-P

If this is a real Rolex please post a reference number, otherwise we have to assume it's a fake. The '70 to '72 time frame makes no sense.

5100 - the only limeted series with external numbering, no standard Rolex serial numbers but 001 to 999

maybe the dial is a aftermarket but, you cannot get such a perfect sweep on any cheap quartz or automatic

It's not aftermarket - it's limited series of 999 watches build 1970-72. Just serviced in Geneva.

Just as a comment to all the commenters, who don't know about older Rolex watches - this was the first Rolex qith quartz movement...
And it just passed a complete overhaul at Rolex Geneva. This week I'll sell this watch for EUR 10.000.- good price for a fake =8-)
