  • could you validate me?

  • By the way. I went to your aspergers Forum. I need to be validated by an administrator.

  • @armshount I no longer own the forum, sorry. I tried to delete it off of my videos but it's a long job. We sold it and the buyer never did anything with it, so it's pretty dead now.

  • Oh, Has anyone ever heard of Systemic Desensitization?

I am probably writing too much right now.. Bye everybody.. :)

    I won't write anymore :D

  • I hope I haven't upset you at all Willow? By the way un-diagnosing people on Youtube. In Psychology Obsessive interests and severe lack of social skills are the highlights of this disorder. You can't just watch a video and say someone is or isn't. Some AS people are different and have certain Psychological and behavioral differences in regards to each other!! As well as Intellectual differences as well. Some are higher functioning than others as well.

  • I also tend to psychoanalyse people when I am intoxicated. It just brings anything I am doing with people socially such as a a drinking party or something into a total completely destroyed situation .. Thats also weird as well.. I dont think I ever really experienced a panic attack since I was in middle school. I would get anxious when my school;s bus would go by me.. Try to avoid people.. Now.. I am totally desensitized to stuff like this.. I just say in my head... "fuck it" or "I dont care"

  • Another question... How do you feel if you touch or squeeze a cotton ball? Does the sound and sensation of the cotton ball cause any sensory issues like me? I hate cotton balls alot. Its a very uncomfortable thing for me. The sound also is uncomfortable when it is torn.

  • @armshount I don't like the way it creaks, but if I handle it in a certain way it's not too bad.

  • Have you ever thought of becoming some kind of therapist for people with Aspergers? You seem to put alot of time into the forum and your blogs. I think that would be a great thing to do. What are your interests? I love computers, and Psychology. Over the years I have jumped from one interest to another.. with extreme focus. :)

  • @armshount Well, I would like to one day, maybe. But I'm not very good at sticking to education..I always drop out before the course has finished. Not because the work is hard, but because I just dislike the environment so much, and that builds up until I just have to leave. My interests are photography and graphic design, as well as writing. I used to run the forum but it's not mine any more. I have plans to do a lot to help the Asperger's environment though. So that's taking up my time now. :)

  • @WillowMarsden I want to go and become a Psychiatrist. right now I am in 3 university courses. I have one year to complete my 3 courses. There are no people involved because you can work at home or anywhere you want as long as there is internet at that location. I also want to become a Computer Network Administrator, Economist, get a degree in Political Sciences, Work with Schizophrenics in the hearing voices network. there are so many things I want to do.

  • I have given up on fitting into society. I am open minded and accept everybody. I hate people who are judgmental. It really upsets me.. I want to go see a psychiatrist to see if I have Aspergers because I have alot of the symptoms of AS. It was your videos Willow that got me to get an appointment today. :)

  • @armshount I am glad my videos helped you. Let me know how your appointment goes. Sometimes they can be difficult because some professionals don't like to 'label' people with things like AS (hidden disabilities, really) for some reason, so you sort of have to see a few sometimes, for second (and third) opinions. All the people I saw said I was on the Autistic Spectrum, but a few didn't want to label me.

  • @WillowMarsden I will be sure to let you know :)

By the way. I added you to Facebook. I hope that's ok and not weird at all..

I also umm... added Chris. I want to find aspergers people to talk to. I know I have it.. Why?.. because when I listen to music for one, I just disconnect.. I pace around the room alot. I rock alot when im stressed, I suck at small talk. I avoid people.. By the way my name is William David Schulte and I am from Canada. :D

  • It is nice to meet you

  • @WillowMarsden How do you want me to tell you? Do you want me to tell on here? I have MSN, and Facebook, and Yahoo.. How do you want me to tell you?

  • @WillowMarsden The Psychiatric community doesn't know how to categorize Aspergers. They want to give it its own category. I will be sure to take that into consideration :)

  • @zenangel924 This is a quite delayed reply, but as someone who knows tons of people on the spectrum, I need to say this. It's not impossible for a girl with AS to put on makeup, especially before making a video, so this argument is completely ridiculous. I am on the spectrum myself and I love makeup because it gives me a sort of a mask to hide behind. I feel more comfortable knowing that I fit in than looking naturally and exposing my true self, uncertainty about which makes me anxious.

  • @ahmadomusic I dont become anxious anymore or anything like that.. I totally isolated myself from people. I love myself and everything I am.. If anything I encourage people to act the way they are. I hope they do the same for me.. :) The only time where I have become anxious or have panicked before was when I was in a job interview. It is impossible to stay calm because you want to make a good impression.. But you know you will do something weird and screw up your interview. One problem for me.

  • @armshount Job interviews are difficult.. I still panic, but not as much as I did when I was younger. Back then I was really sensitive.. Now I don't care if people hate me or love me.. I love myself and I try to treat people with respect thats all that matters to me.. :)

  • I am SOOOOOOOO very tired of people "un-diagnosing" other people (almost always women/girls) based on YouTube videos. Seriously people, that is absurd. For the same reasons a person needs to be evaluated by an experienced professional to know for certain whether or not they have AS, one can NOT make that determination based on a YOUTUBE VIDEO, even a series of them. It's so irrational that it's laughable. Even a professional can't legally/ethically make that determination based on these clips.

  • @JustEmbers very true

  • I think your very cute

  • @zenangel924 But you said I was trolling by saying I have AS...and that I look NT because of makeup. I'm diagnosed with AS at the end of the day so there's really no argument. I wear makeup because I feel I can hide behind it and fit in a little bit more.

  • @zenangel924 So because I wear makeup I MUST be NT? How very stereotypical of you.

  • This is an 'abstract' question: but what do you think of Nine Inch Nails? Trent Reznor has autism, but has a very DIFFERENT perspective. I wonder if other people find him 'just a good musician' or listen to the art and ideas. My question I guess is, is it normal to be aspergic AND frustrated; or are we all "innocents in the wilderness"???

  • I LOVE UR BEDROOM! its soo cool! i like the colors

  • Havent seen an update on you for a while.

The aspergic forums seems down by the way but we can better have forum down then ourself in a downy mood of course!

  • Have you ever thought of sending video responses to people who placed mean comments on your videos?

  • Omg, the last part with 'hyper' actually scared me. Especially as I was watching in the dark, lol! =P

  • You remind me of a good friend of mine from Cumbria...you are awesome and spectaculary beautiful!(Is that even a word lol?)Keep up the blogs :)

  • I only have one tooth out of line, it could be worse. I am not going to have it straightened because I am terrified of the dentist, and it's part of who I am.

  • @WillowMarsden I think i was a lil harsh back then but i think you are very beautiful

  • @C1rus27 thats an orthodontist..and Im pretty sure its rude to randomly comment on somebodys teeth!! not everyone wants perfectly straight teeth. her teeth are nice the way they are!

  • @ Lublancan

Have u ever heard of individuality? It's this thing where everyone is different. Believe it or not, this also applies to people on the autism spectrum.

You cannot justify comments like that. At all.

  • You should teach me haha!

    Any tips for videos? Pointers?

  • I agree with Lubiancan78, you don't have Aspergers.

  • @EGarrett01 and how would you know? Idiot.

  • @luzyfalluzy

Because my knowledge of the subject dwarfs yours.

  • How many PHD's do you have? More than the Consultant Clinical Psychologist that diagnosed me?

  • What? Mr/mrs/miss/ Dr EGarret. with all due respect, you have no idea what I know, who I know and from which perspective. Unless you can actually qualify such a comment I suggest you shut the @**$ up. However much you reckon you know, understanding a condition, whatever it is, is a totally different thing.

  • @luzyfalluzy

You're right, I don't know you, but I'll still bet money that my knowledge of the topic compared to yours, even if you are an aspie, is like a hurricane next to a fart.

  • interesting you still cannot qualify yourself.

  • Don't feed the troll ladies. This c*nt is just here to wind you up. Feed it and it'll come back for more, ignore it and it will wither and die.

  • @luzyfalluzy

What matters is not the qualifications of the person but the reasoning and understanding they can offer. You know that, right? And as I said, I'll bet money that my knowledge of the topic would dwarf yours as a hurricane would a fart.

  • Do you find that having a meltdown makes you more susceptible to having another meltdown in the near future? Good luck with your forum. I'd like to join since I support the idea behind it; however, I have an irrational hatred of forums, so I probably won't end up joining.

  • you faker

  • What?

  • @Lublancan78 s what qualifies you to diagnose this person as a 'faker? It's attitudes and idiocy like yours that Willow, myseld and others with Asperger's have to face all the time.

  • Great video. Alot of good answers to interesting questions and and your forum is lovely :)

  • Good Video Willow, you do a good job at explaining things :) On another note, that's a beautiful room you've got! X

  • Its nice to see another video by you. You have nice eyes by the way :)

  • 3rd rock from the sun is one of my fav programs ever!!! :D

  • Meltdowns are just...weird. I feel like I can't talk anymore, and I can't control my movements. I get really upset and cry a lot and I tend to almost revert back to being a child. I get panic attacks sometimes too. I get a lot of 'almost' panic attacks. I'm not sure if a lot of people have them.

  • I've registered now but I don't really understand how to add information to my profile and send messages to the forums. I'm not very good with computers.

  • Hello Willow, nice to see you're making videos again. I'll have a look at this website in a moment. What is a meltdown exactly? I know it's supposed to be a loss of control, but what happens? I'm not sure if I have meltdowns or not because I don't fully understand what they are. Do lots of people have them? What about panic attacks?
